Chapter 69: Chapter 68: Leaf Shinobi Vs Fake Leaf Shinobi
The guards of the company were caught off guard by the sudden attack by the Leaf Shinobi.
Tikashi who was the head guard and the strongest of all the guards managed to keep his calm and instructed his fellow guards to keep their calm.
"Don't falter! We outnumber our enemies by a lot. Take advantage of your numbers and overwhelm your opponents. Show them your might. Defend this place with your lives." He said as he himself rushed towards one of the enemy Jonins who he deemed as the strongest of the enemies.
He soon realized that he was not a match for the enemy Jonin from one of the great villages. But he kept fighting despite knowing that the battle would lead to an inevitable loss.
The other guards were facing the same problem as him. They were also pushed on backfoot by the enemy chunins who were being aided by the other two Jonins despite outnumbering them.
"I knew these Leaf shinobi just pretended to act as righteous but they are just like the other great villages. They are using their shinobi might to exploit us small villages. No matter what, I would not let you pass!" One of the shinobi guards shouted his frustrations before charging against the 'Leaf' shinobi.
"You nameless shinobi from a nameless village would now understand the power of Leaf Village and Why you should not get involved with us!" The 'Leaf' Shinobi kicked the guard.
He then rushed towards the chunin planning to end him with his kunai while also dramatically shouting "For the Leaf Village and the Hokage!"
*Clang*
The 'Leaf' shinobi was surprised to see a sword blocking his kunai from slitting the guard's throat.
"You should not utter the name of my old man from your dirty mouth," Ken muttered as he slammed his other hand that was covered with Lava Style: Ash Fist jutsu in a right hook towards the enemy's jaw.
Ken could bet that he had at least taken half of his teeth with that uppercut.
Itachi and Kabuto too appeared in a flash and helped the guards who were being overwhelmed by the enemy shinobi.
The attention of the entire battlefield including the jonins turned to the newcomers.
"Who are you guys? You should leave, this is not the battlefield for kids." The guards asked the first question confused at first before seeing that the newcomers appeared very young in fact they all appeared to be less than 10 years old.
Itachi turned his face towards the guards as he reassured them with a smile "Don't you worry, We are the shinobi from the leaf village."
He took a pause before saying "The real ones."
To prove his statements his eyes swirled in red showing his Sharingan.
Seeing this all the guards had their eyes widened and after they processed what Itachi had said, they came to an alarming conclusion.
"These guys that we have been fighting are not leaf shinobi but imposters?" One of the guards asked
Ken snorted as he kicked the fake Leaf shinobi hard who was still down on the ground after his solid uppercut "Hmph, Leaf shinobis are not this weak and so arrogant. The Leaf Shinobis are the kindest shinobi out there. We all follow the will of Fire. We don't act like these fools and use such petty schemes."
Hearing Ken's words, Kabuto wryly smiled 'No one would think that we are not arrogant or kindest after your words and your actions.'
"Who would dare to do such a thing against one of the major villages and why?" The guard that Ken just saved muttered in a low voice.
Ken heard it thanks to his senses training which had increased his hearing power as he answered the guard's questions "To steal the company's formula that you are guarding and put all the blame on the Leaf. Killing two birds with one stone. As for where they are from, they are from Iwa, Despicable people!"
Ken saw some of the Iwa shinobi tensing, thus confirming their speculation that they were really from Iwa.
One of the fake Leaf shinobi jonin suddenly tensed seeing the three Leaf genins appear as he looked at his surroundings in fear.
He recognized one of the kids who had just used some rock-fist jutsu. He had seen the photo of that kid in the bingo book and recognized him as Ken Sarutobi, the grandson of the third Hokage.
He was not scared of Ken. No not at all, he is a Jonin from a major village after all. He was scared of the person who was supposed to protect the kid. The one who was renowned in the shinobi world for his special forbidden technique. The person who was known as the one with the Death's Touch, Shikuro Aburame.
"Looking for someone?" He heard a solemn voice behind him and before he could react, he felt a tap on his shoulder followed by pain, a lot of pain.
His skin turned purple before crumbling piece by piece.
Everyone turned their heads in the direction of the scream and they felt chills running down their spines as they saw the scene.
The other Jonin who was not fighting rushed to his comrade's aid but was too late as half of his body had already crumbled.
