Chapter 76: 5 x 19 Hammer of the Gods

Disclaimer: I mean no offense to any religion, nor to any believer of those religions.

I was walking around multiple hospitals in Haiti, Pestilence had spread an epidemic of cholera through the contaminated water, I was busy healing and purifying the people who caught the disease.

Pestilence was on a warpath, he was causing countless epidemics, and was actively searching for me, to claim revenge over his brothers death.

I was finished with my last patient, when I felt this enormous headache, I could only hear the sounds of ringing in my ears, and I could feel that my grace was being pulled to somewhere.

"junud allah wajunuduhu. hifzat alqudara. ya allah , linakun fi hudur almilak aljasadii Isaiel." Shiva voice echoed in my head as I teleported to his location.

("The soldiers and warriors of God. Keepers of Fate. God, let us be in the physical presence of the angel Isaiel.")

I appeared in the desert in a beam of light and the sound of thunder, I was greeted with the presence of Shiva, Parvati, Amaterasu, Sun Wukong, and Thor.

Parvati took the appearance of an beautiful young Indian woman with black eyes and black hair, she was wearing a purple Saree while on the back of a tiger eating a platter of Gulab Jamum.

Amaterasu was wearing her black and gold imperial clothes, her fave was full of conflicting emotions as she meet my gaze.

Sun wukong took the form of an orange-fur anthropomorphic monkey, he was the size of an average human, and had golden eyes with a heart-shaped marking across his face.

Thor was a muscular burly man with an enormous belly, he had Norse tattoos around his arms and body, he had red hair and blue eyes, with Mjolnir hanging over his left side. (Thor from Gow Ragnarok)

"Shiva, what's so important that you had to summon me like that, I know that I gave you the summoning ritual for emergencies, but couldn't you just send a prayer." Shiva had an serious look on his face as he crossed his arms.

"It was a matter of grave importance Isaiel, Indra and Kail, have called for an assembly of gods. They wish to convert more gods to their cause, and put an end to the apocalypse by destroying heaven." I could sense Shiva holding back his anger as Parvati patted his arm to cam him.

"I thought you made it clear from our last meeting that you didn't want to interfere in the apocalypse or have a war with Indra, what changed? I was confused at why Shiva was so angry at the mention of Indra, it certainly wasn't for my sake.

"Indra has gone too far this time, he doesn't just want Christianity and the other Abrahamic faiths to be destroyed. There is a rumor that he is planning on controlling all of humanity, with an ancient relic belonging to those who came before." When Shiva said that last part, the air became icy cold and snow was falling on the desert sand.

"Shiva and Parvati, if there is even a shred of truth to that rumor, I will erase Indra from the minds of every sentient being. We both know that messing with that, is a taboo punishable by execution or casting him into the void." The atmosphere became serious as I spoke in my true voice.

"Wait, hold on, what is this thing about the one's who came before and why is it so bad? Vincent sounded interested in the topic.

"Before I answer your question Vincent, I need to explain the different types of God's, and why they are important."

"First, you have your historical gods, these are people who have made large impacts on history and humanity, and upon death can chose to either go to paradise or become a god, however they are also the weakest and most susceptible to be forgotten, due to no one remembering their stories."

"Next, are the Fable Gods, these are heroes or people of legend, people whose stories are ingrained in the mind of humans, in some form. Arthur and the round knights, Merlin, Hercules, Alvalon, Cu Chulainn, and Gilgamesh, to name a few."

"Then we have the pagan Gods or the gods of myth, which are deities that have an established religion, are anchored by faith and sacrifices, or gods that have migrated to this universe after leaving their previous one."

"Wait, so there are gods who actually left their universe, and came here? Why? To see if the grass was greener on the other side? Vincent was confused and surprised at that information.

"Let me answer your question with another question. Why do immigrants spend so much time trying to enter the United States? When they are not even wanted, or they possibly won't achieve their dreams? Giving him a clue as to their motivations.

"OK, I understand, that makes total sense when you look at it."

"Finally, the Elder gods or the one's who came before, are not gods by any means, they are beings of nightmares and chaos. Cthulhu, Azathoth, Nyarlathotep, and Yog-Sothoth. They are beings that are currently In a deep slumber, because when they are awake, endless universe's are destroyed by their presence. Whatever Indra is planning with that relic, will open this universe to a journey they are not ready for, nor would come back from." I showed Vincent a memory of all the destruction, the Elder gods orchestrated with their powers.

"That is the reason why I have gathered gods to attend that meeting, we need humanity to survive if we are to continue to exist, and the more fight, the more likely all the gods will be swept in this apocalypse mess." The voice of Amaterasu brought me back to reality, as she had a determined and confident gaze.

"Kali may side with Indra over her hatred for Christianity, but I doubt she would agree of she knew of his real plans, all I ask is a favor that you make sure that both Kali and Ganesh stay alive. Neither one of us wish to see our son get killed, because he follows his mother." Parvati looked at me with the gaze of a worried mother for her children.

I agreed to do my best to keep both of them alive during the meeting, as well as Thor's request for Odin as well.

"Listen Thor, about what happened with Thorfin__"

"Don't even bother, his death showed me that I was right about him, that he was nothing but a coward and a mistake. No child of mine would die without dying in combat, and if you ever utter his name in my presence again, I wil crack open your skull with Mjolnir." Thor picked up Mjolnir as if to prove the point.

"Now, isn't that a bit harsh to say to your dead son? All he ever wanted to do was impress you and seek your favor, don't blame Isaiel for his death because you refuse to admit the truth." Parvati looked at Thor, as thunder boomed overhead.

"The fuck did you say!? Thor looked at Mjolnir then at Parvati, as if to contemplate throwing the hammer at her, when he saw the look that Shiva gave him, and decided to say some unsavory words about women.

I ignored Thor and looked at the god who was the most quiet Sun Wukong, he just looked at me with a mischievous smile. I felt a bit uncomfortable since the last time that he smiled like that was when he and Gabriel were left unsupervised, and the chaos was out of control.

"Monkey, I have to ask, why are you here? Aren't you no longer dealing with godly matters since you became retired? The other gods looked at out conversation with slight interest.

"Simple, I've never let anyone dictate my destiny in the past, and I'm not about to start now. Indra's plan will bring our downfall, and I still have much to do on this Earth, before we all close the curtains." Sun Wukong flashed me a grin and disappeared.

I couldn't believe that was Sun Wukong's true intentions, but I didn't care all to much as I was going to spend my time finding out the truth to this rumor.

I arrived at the Elysium hotel in Muncie, lndiana. I could sense over 500 gods in the building, all of them on opposing sides with different agendas all around.

I teleported straight in the meeting room, I could feel countless gazes at me, some hostile, some friendly, and some curious that an angel was here, interrupting their meeting.

"You! You dare show yourself here? You filthy Tenshi, I wasn't able to kill you last time we met, but I will have your head!" Susanoo roared as he charged at me.

"Enough! Indra shouted as Susanoo was force to Kneel, his hate-filled eyes staring at me as I sat in the center of the room.

There were gods on two sets of tables, one was Indra and his coalition of gods, and the other was Shiva and the rest of the gods who didn't agree with Indra's plan for the apocalypse.

The gods that followed Indra were Kali, Ganesh,(due to Kali being his mother) Susanoo, Tsukuyomi, Isis, Nezha, six-eared Macaque, Zeus, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hinokagutsuschi, Balor, Angra Mainyu, and Huitzilopochtli.

The gods who opposed Indra and his forces were Shiva, Amaterasu, Odin, Sun Wukong, Tiamat, Poseidon, Hades, Athena, Brahma, Vishnu, Aten, Buddha(which was surprisingly) , Emma, Scathach, and Quetzalcoatl.

I was surprised at the number of gods that had showed up to pick their sides, aside the 30 gods that had a seat on the table, there were gods who I thought faded or went to eternal sleep.

"Now that all of us are in attendance, we need to talk about the most disturbing and important issue among our fellow gods, the rumor that Indra has come in contact with a relic from the one's who came before, and is planning on enslaving all of mankind with it's power." Amaterasu spoke as the entire assembly of gods gasped and muttered to themselves.

"I-Indra, don't tell me that what she is saying is true, that you have a forbidden relic? I agreed to destroy the archangels and heaven, not to strip humans of their free will and enslave them." Kali shouted as her arms began to be coated with fire.

"So what? Even if that rumor is supposedly true, we are the gods! Humans are not but a mess ever since we allowed them to do what they please, how many of our devote followers abandoned us for Christianity? How many gods started to fade or were sent to eternal sleep because of their so-called enlightenment era? We were the ones who the humans worshiped until humans didn't want us. Join me and we can bring back the era of the true gods, and not have to worry about non-gods interfering in our matters." Indra looked at me as many of his allies cheered, as Kali and Ganesh looked at Indra in disbelief.

"Is that what you think Indra? Your too young to understand the dangers of what you are playing with that relic, the power will corrupt you until you become a slave to the Elder gods." I tried to persuade Indra from going down this path, but had to block a strike from Susanoo and his cronies who surrounded me.

"You know what? I'm done talking about this pointless conversation, and I'm here to formally announce that me and my allies have declared war on heaven and all the pantheons that dare to oppose me." Indra pulled out an orb, and every God that was on his side except for Kali and Ganesh, disappeared as Lucifer was coming to the hotel.

The gods disappeared as they prepared for the oncoming war, me and Gabriel got ready to fight Lucifer, as he tried to get us on his side, but stabbed Gabriel with an angel blade as he "died" infront of me.

When Lucifer was gone, Gabriel appeared next to his fake body and was ready to leave, but I had one bit of advice for him.

"Gabe, don't go to Loki for protection again, he will sell you to asmodeus for breaking your promise to him." Warning Gabriel to not be asmodeus toy.

"Asmodeus? What are you talking about Isa? Loki is my friend who helped me escape heaven, and how do you know this wil happen? Gabriel looked confused as he saw my serious look.

"Did you forget that I can see the future brother? If you go to Loki right now, you wil suffer unspeakable agony at the hands of asmodeus." I showed him what had happened to him with asmodeus in the show.

Gabriel shuddered, and nodded saying that he would trust me and stay in the cleansing pavilion, and disappeared as I went looking for clues on the relic in Indra's possession.
