Immediately I stopped on the spot and my previously relaxed demeanor changed into a cautious one, Back in the outside world I survived by relying on my robbery skills.
While I used to steal I had developed a very good spatial awareness which was necessary for me at that time, I used my highly honed senses to look around the tree that I had climbed.
Detecting no movements I slowly looked down from the tree and there it was, A grasshopper that looked to be about the size of my foot stood there with its mouth open.
It was releasing some kind of green fluid from its mouth which corroded the grass below it as soon as it came in contact.
My battle instincts immediately spiked up and a smile crept its way onto my mouth, My adrenaline started to kick in and I got ready to attack.
*3rd person POV*
Jack who was currently standing on top of a tree was getting ready to attack however he noticed that his whip had small parts of grey stone at random spots.
They were irregularly shaped stones that had some sharp edges, He closed his eyes and started to imagine his whip having all of the grey stones collected at one spot.
Immediately the whip deformed and reformed turning into a whip that had a bunch of grey stones lined up at the end of it.
With this slight improvement his attack would become way more lethal, He then positioned himself right above the grasshopper and sat in the Spiderman position with his whip ready.
As soon as the grasshopper came into a favourable position He jumped off the branch and started to spin.
*Skree*
The grasshopper heard the sound and got startled, He started to look up but unfortunately, he was just too slow.
Jack used the momentum of his fall plus the momentum of his spin to release his whip with all of his power.
*BOOM*
The force of the whip was powerful enough to make all of the dust fly up and the poor grasshopper was immediately crushed by the force.
It couldn't even move a finger before it was crushed by the spinning attack.

"Hehehe that was fucking awesome!" He shouted as he stood up with a cheerful expression.

Jack's view was immediately bombarded with a bunch of panels that had various notifications but he only paid attention to one of them.
"Show me my status" he said with an intrigued voice.

He had a pleased look with his stats after all the average stats of a beginner hunter was 5 which meant he had above-average strength and other stats.
*Sniff*
Suddenly he noticed a weird smell enter his nose which smelled like disgusting chemicals, He turned around to find the corpse of the grasshopper releasing all of the fluids that started to melt its own corpse.
The system had already told him that many other grasshoppers would come once one grasshopper was killed.

A bunch of notifications started to pop up and even a red notification popped up trying to warn the young lunatic however he just stood there with a massive grin on his face.
Meanwhile, the grasshoppers were slowly approaching the stationary man, Even they were confused since he was standing still.
But then he slowly lifted his head and with a blood thirsty look on his face "Now this is going to be fun" he said.
*Scree*
The grasshoppers immediately reacted as they confirmed their enemy and one of them opened his mouth and released of ball of the green acid in Jack's direction.
However, he immediately ran towards the right where he jumped and used his whip as a swing to swing around the tree and appeared right in front of a grasshopper with his feet in front.
*Crack*
As soon as the face met the foot it immediately cracked open and it fell down like a lifeless doll.
*Bite*
A Grasshopper that was just beside the one that was killed immediately tried to bite Jack however his whip had already wrapped around his fist turning into a basic Armor.
"That's not how you bite" said Jack as he opened his mouth wide and bite onto the neck of the grasshopper.
*Screee*
It tried to struggle but it was meaningless as its neck was completely detached from its body, Jack just spat it out on the floor and crushed it under his feet.
His smile along with the blood flowing down his mouth and the fearlessness in his eyes made all of the grasshoppers take a defensive stance.
They were absolutely terrified.

Unfortunately, they could not escape either since Jack was way faster than them, They had to face the terrifying monster.
He merely smiled and wiped the blood from his mouth got ready to attack again.
Dashing with his full speed he jumped over a ball of acid that was thrown towards him and swung his whip with full force making sure the sharp edge hit.
And it did which instantly killed a grasshopper however numbers are still something deadly, 2 grasshoppers jumped on his back to bite him.
They did not know that Jack's whip could move any way it wanted and just like that he didn't have to do anything as the whip itself appeared to the side and swung by itself killing the 2 grasshoppers.
There only remained 3 grasshoppers from the previous 8 and they definitely didn't want to attack.
"You are not attacking? Well, then I will!" He said and killed the remaining three as well.
