Chapter 9: Part 8 Ironman I Part III
Laura Pov- -Going to Starks mansion-
"Are you sure it is alright? I ask
"Please I have more rooms then I know what to do with. Besides after what we have been though I know both of us need a rest and I promised to help you find out what those are made of." Tony says and Pepper buts in asking "What are you two talking about?"
"Can I tell them Laura?" Tony ask and in response I ask " Trust them?" "Always" He says.
Pep "You know we are right next to you"
I just sigh and start to tell Happy and Pepper my story and they both cried...well Pepper balled her eyes out while hugging me, my body twitched but I forced myself to allow her to hug me, and Tony gave me a knowing look.... he is a lot more observant then I thought and Happy was tearing up while trying to keep driving. Their reactions are genuine and somehow that weirds me out after all this time. Naturally they both had questions Pepper asked
"Are you okay?" "Meh I guess?"
"Who were they?" " Dont know"
"Do you know your Father/Doner?" "I know his name."
Tony asks "Same last name?" "Yup"
"Think that's wise?" "Meh"
Happy only asked a few questions "Did they escape" "No" to which he nods approvingly and "Can we see the claws?" "Yes but once we are parked."
Once we park in Tony's driveway I keep my promise with a satisfying *SHINK* which I now know is the claws rubbing my skeleton as they exit. Pepper ask immediately "Does it hurt" and I think she might be a Saint, has to be to put up with Tony. " Yes, Everything. On the bright side however they are the thing I am most thankful for other then the training." The part about the training I don't say out loud.
As we enter the house I hear " Sir it would appear that you got lost. Should I print a map for you to keep?" And Tony says " Very funny Jarvis. This is Laura give her access just below mine. Laura this is Jarvis my AI."
I reply "An AI, so he is fully capable of emotion and rewriting his own code?" "Well no, Not yet." " Then he is a VI not an AI"
Jarvis responds to this saying "That is correct Mam." And Tony says "Most people don't know or realize their is a difference between the two so I just say AI to not waste time. Anyway just pick any room and it's yours. Jarvis will order anything you want. Right Jarvis?" " Of course sir." I try to tell him I don't need anything but he interrupts saying "Nonsense, either order stuff or I buy a bunch of fluffy pink clothes that say Pretty Princess on them." I go pale at the thought, I hate pink it reminds me of that one lady from HP that I can't remember the name of.... you know the pink toad(sorry toads).
