Chapter 131: Playing a Sadistic Game 2
In the dark lit place, the leader of assassins was sweating buckets while being gazed at by those pair of two glowing blue eyes that contained power and authority in them with madness and chaos hidden beneath all of this.
"Now, let the game begins~" Austin said making the man shudder but his determination to not reveal anything to the enemy in front of him was stronger, although he was afraid but for the sake of his master, he would present his life for him.
He was afraid that Austin would make him reveal everything he knew about his master.
Foolish.
Austin after all didn't need that. He already knew that Nomad was just a cover and the true HQ was hidden. Although the red dot stopped at the last floor of the building, Austin figured that the door to true place was hidden there and with the help of his magic he could find it.
He could even search in his memories like he did before to get anything he wanted.
So simple as that, but that foolish demon thought that he would torment him to spill out all he knew about Nomad and Edwen Black, he didn't know much about Edwen as he didn't meet him frequently.
Only when needed to do a mission and most of the times he would receive the missions through someone else.
While in deep thought about how Austin would torment him to spill out everything, a small wooden table appeared beside Austin with a small wooden box with vintage design.
He put the box on the table before he opened it slowly, revealing 5 test tubes filled with some liquids that had different colors from each other.
They were as follow: Red, Green, Blue, Purple, and Black.
They were glowing inside their tubes giving them a strange allure and a feeling of danger.
Austin looked back at the man with a 'friendly' smile and said.
"So, how do you find them? Beautiful, right?"
The man was confused by Austin's question as he thought that he would torment him in the worst ways and he would struggle to not reveal anything with his strong will and determination.
But facing a question like that, he became bewildered, not able to respond.
"I knew that you would also find them beautiful, after all they are my precious children." The smile on his face was warm while looking at the five tubes.
The man although confused but he could feel danger coming to bite his ass. Maybe he shouldn't have come back and told his superiors that he was attacked by a powerful enemy and managed to come back?
"Now, here is the thing,"
'I knew it, this was just a way to make me relax before the real thing began.' The man thought.
"You will play with my children here until they are satisfied, clear?"
"..."
"Confused, right? Well, that's understandable, because you will play with those five beautiful tubes where they will run in your blood and play inside your body until they are satisfied and good."
"I knew it that you would torment me to tell you everything I know, but shame on you I won't reveal–"
"Tsk tsk,
Wrong.
I won't torment you, this is just a...play where you and them will play together." Austin said while his eyes focused on the five tubes as he touched them tenderly as if they were his real children.
Well, he will have them eventually.
An injection appeared in his hand before he took one of the tubes and opened it. It contained the red liquid.
Then using the needle attached to the injection, he sucked the liquid inside until it filled 3cm of it.
Looking at the injection, the man felt a cold sweat running down his back while his breaths quickened.
'What is happening to me? Clearly he didn't inject me with this strange liquid, so why I'm shivering?!' The man was bewildered.
Fear.
A natural reaction in all living beings no matter their race. Once the seed of fear is implanted, it will grow to no end.
"Now, take a deep a breath while I will inject you with this." Austin said while standing up and moving toward the man's neck.
He had a 'friendly' smile of a doctor.
"W-w-w-what will y-you do to me?" He asked with shaky voice.
Austin just grinned and held the man's head tightly with his hand so to not move around before he pointed the needle of the injection at a vein in his neck and slowly penetrated it.
Once the needle went inside the vein, he pushed the liquid inside until nothing left in the injection.
He took it out and went and sat on the chair before putting the injection on the table beside him, then looked at the man in front of him with observant eyes.
The leader of the group of assassins didn't feel anything at first and thought that what he put inside him was nullified due to his constitution which was his demon body.
Demons after all have a resistance to any natural and normal poisons.
But what the man didn't know was that what Austin injected inside his body was something special.
Slowly, the man felt pain all over his body.
It increased with each passing moment, making him moan in pain.
"Arggggh! W-what did..you...do?" He questioned with pained expression.
"Hmmm, so it took 5 seconds for the potion to take effect. Need some modifications with that." Austin muttered not caring about the man in front of him.
Suddenly, the skin of the man began to turn into red with red steam coming out of his pores.
It smelt like blood.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHGH!!!!!" The man screamed in pain as the pain was unbearable at all.
With a memo in his hand, Austin was writing something on it while taking glances at the red body in front of him.
"Good, the effects are good. Next, the efficiency of the process...."
Austin was talking to himself while ignoring the screams of agony of the man as his body was trembling violently while the white of his eyes turned red with veins popped on his head.
During all of that, Austin was taking notes after he stopped looking at the man in front of him.
Several minutes later that seemed like hours to the man, the pain stopped and his eyes became lifeless without any trace of life inside.
He died.
"First trial, success."
"The Blood Burning Potion is working well. Next," He said as he looked at the lifeless body of the demon assassin.
"Better get him alive again."
