Chapter 136: The Nine Lords
As you all know that the Nines or the Nine Noble Demons Lords are nine lords each one of them specializing in something. After the death of the Demon King, things got worse and Edwen Black who was planning on how to control them used this chance and put all of them under his control, even Bismarck, the one in charge of the Hell Knights was being controlled.
Edwen was so cunning after all, even his sister Carla Cromwell, who was one of the nine lords known as Blood Lord, was included in his plan and mind controlled her as well.
Yeah, he was a scum.
Anyway, let me remind you of the nine lords again. They are as follow: Blood Lord - Corpse Lord - Phantom Lord - Wise Lord - Night Lord - Flame Lord - Ice Lord - War Lord - Dark Lord.
The Blood Lord, Carla Cromwell, who is a strong vampire woman having a very high regeneration abilities and strong racial powers, she completely embraced her vampire side becoming one with it, making her the strongest vampire in the demon realm.
Corpse Lord or known as the Lord of the Dead, his name is Teutates, has the ability to control the dead and command them however he likes. Her prevail in long-run battles and become more powerful in a place filled with the smell of death. He is like a typical Necromancer if not for his mastery over sword so he can fight beside his undead army.
Phantom Lord or better know as the Lord of Dreams, can be a succubus or Incubus, but this generation's Phantom Lord is a succubus named Ereshkigal. She has a very strong army of demons who are under her control due to her proficiency in charming and enchanting which is her field of expert. Beside that, she can control dreams and cast a very powerful illusions that can make the person unable to differentiate between illusion and reality.
Night Lord or the Lord of Assassins, it's a woman called Ceres, the Queen of the Night. She has a deadly dagger techniques that can cut the enemy into pieces with ease. Also, she has a speed that can't be compared to anyone of the lords, she is simply the fastest lord among the Nines.
Wise Lord, Marjaana or better known as Brain Flayer Queen. She is not a native of the demon realm and from a species called Brain Flayer. She had immense knowledge and the most knowledgeable one among the lords. Due to her different species, she can use magic without needing a medium and all of that through her staff that enhance her magic attacks and casting speed.
Maybe she is the weaker among the lord, but in terms of strategic planning, she is best.
Flame Lord, Heliogabalus Gaap, he is a lord that has the ability to manipulate the flames freely. His flames are more destructive and hotter than any normal flames by several levels that just the heat of the flames can melt the skin. He is considered the strongest among the nine lords.
War Lord, Mordecai, he is very proficient in Martial Arts and only fight without weapons, his body itself is considered a natural weapon.
Ice Lord, Frostheim, has the ability to manipulate ice, a very versatile element. Can be used in offense or defense or both.
Dark Lord, Gore, has the ability to control darkness, but he mainly use it to cast very powerful debuffs that can make the enemy powerless in front of him.
"These are the names and abilities of the nine lords, and now I will divide you into teams to fight each one of them."
They all nodded with serious and solemn expressions. Just from hearing the abilities of the nine lords, they knew that they were powerful and pose a dangerous threat.
"The teams are as follow: Lilith and Anita will face the Phantom Lord,
Stella, Asagi, Ava and Eve will face the Corpse Lord
Violet will face the War Lord,
Ephildis, Dinelynd and Mi-Kyung Cho will face the Dark Lord,
Victoria and Lya will face the Flame Lord,
Roxanne, Luise, Ruby and Judy will face the Ice Lord,
Sakura and Yukikaze will face the Night Lord,
Shiranui and Ingrid will face the Blood Lord,"
"And finally, Leona, you will face Bismarck, the Chancellor. You don't need to worry about the Wise Lord, I will take care of her along with Selena."
All the women nodded in understanding. It was the time to put all that training over the past period into practice.
Their eyes burned with determination and were already discussing their strategies for their respective opponent which made Austin feel proud of them.
They really developed and started to think themselves rather than depending on him. They trained hard with strong will in order to stand beside Austin and fight beside him as his wives.
All of that thanks to Leona, she was the one who made his wives grow and develop to be independent and strong women. And that made Austin feel more proud for having such obsessive crazy and strong wife.
'I should thank her after we finish the mission.' he made a mental note.
Now with everything put in place and the group of women was divided into teams, the situation was developing faster.
Edwen already sent his troops to the Anti-demon association to ambush it when they were unaware of that.
Also, he also prepared everything for the battle. His most trusted servants, the Nine Lords, were in their respective positions, waiting for the enemies to come.
Although they can just go out of the HQ and eliminate the association easily, their master told them to wait here and guard their positions while he could finish the arrangements for turning Asagi into his Eve.
"Soon enough you will be mine Asagi and nothing can stop me from that. No one can." He said with deep sinister voice while laughing like a villain.
Well, he is one and the Last Boss at that.
The stage has been set and just waiting for the actors to start their act.
Whether it will be successful or not, it's all depend on the actors themselves.
