Chapter 2: Self Determination

It is day light, yet I wallow in darkness

Looking for a chance to turn

My wrongs to right.

Alas!

I stick to the difficulties of life and

Challenges to come.

A cry of one who has guilt about the

Things she has done, being convinced

To RIGHT her wrongs and make peace

With her fate.

I am in the dark, seeking for solace

And answers; for in the dark I find

A great heap of encouragement.

Where several of my thoughts find

Their echo in my own words.

Though it is daylight,

I am absolutely in the dark.

Seeking a possibility to make

Up for my misdeeds.

Alas!

I continue to solely concentrate

On the challenges that lie beyond in life.

I am in the dark, pursuing consolation

and remedies.

For in the dark i find a great deal

Of encouragement, where numerous

Of my ideas find their echo

In my own words.

It is a cry of one who has shame about the

Things she has done,

Being convinced to "RIGHT" her wrongs

And make peace with her fate.
