Chapter 2: Asgard
As I am ten years old, so now I have started to learn and write. Although i know the English and in Asgard, people also speak this but as a prince I have to study many more languages like elven language, language of dwarves and the languages of many other intrasteller civilizations.
Although i am not a prodigy in learning, but I am still a top student and much better than my brother Thor and as for Loki, he is really a learning prodigy and I have heard of many deeds about him from my cultural teachers. But the majority of people in Asgard only focus on Physical battles and Physical strength, so he is always overshadowed by Thor.
Maybe, this is the reason why he developed such a character in the future. Because majority of the people in Asgard, aside from the fact that he is a Royal Prince, doesn't respect him much.
As for me, because I am small and not much of my talents have been revealed yet, so there are not much opinions.
Although Loki is cold to most of the people but he is really good to me but he doesn't show it and act like a tsunadre. As for Thor, he really is a carefree person and you can look at this from the fact that he asked me about going to Muspelheim a few days ago for stopping the rebellion.
Mother was really angry at his attitude but he didn't care and thought that he was giving me a heroic task. As for father, I have not met him much and only sees him a few times of the year.
As I was thinking about these things, I reached mother's residence. I am here today for a special purpose.
The maid saw me coming and asked me with a smile :
"What's the matter Your highness. "
I replied : "I am here to see mother today and have something important to talk to her. "
"OK, wait a minute your highness, I will ask the queen. " the maid replied and went inside to look for mother.
She came after a while :
"Your highness, Her Majesty welcomes you. "
I followed her and went inside and saw mother sitting in the garden and having tea. I immediately went to her and gave her a kiss on the cheeks. She also smiled at this and kissed me back.
She then said : "Now tell me what my son is doing here? "
She knew that I must have come here with a purpose so she exposed me immediately.Seeing myself being exposed, I changed my strategy and made a pitiful face and said:
"Mother, my studies are really easy, so I wanted to ask you to teach me magic. "
I have always had a strong interest in magic. As a previous earthling, magic was like a novel thing to me and I have a strong desire for it and have always wanted to learn it. And mother is said to be the best magician in Nine realms and Loki's magic also comes from her. So I wanted to see if she could teach me.
As for the scientific study and technology, although Asgard has always been in the forefront but I like other Asgardian doesn't have much interest in it.
My while focus is always on magic and my intrest in magic may even be more than other Asgardians intrest for Physical fighting.
Hearing my words, mother immediately said :
" No you can't learn it now, you will start to learn it after your 20th birthday. So don't try to pull some weird thoughts."
Although i had pretty much expected her rejection but I still asked :
" But can't you teach me some little magic. Just a little. "
I also tried making cute face but she still firmly rejected :
" No. "
Hearing this, I was sad and looked like a lost puppy. Seeing my pitiful face, her heart softened and she stroked my hair and said :
" Although you can't learn magic yet but you can still learn magical theory and I can teach you it myself. "
Hearing this, I immediately became happy and my sadness disappeared without a trace and again kissed her on cheeks.
