Chapter 18: Liam Astros Griffin
Liam opened his eyes and looked around him. There was greenery around him and he was lying on the grass. There were tall trees all around him and he could hear water flowing near him. He sat up from the ground and looked around him vigilantly. He seems to be in a forest.
His whole body was bandaged and there was quietness in the place. He looked around and found a person sitting crossed leg with his eyes closed under the shade of a tree. He had shiny golden blond hair and his whole face was smooth and white. It seems that he has never fought a battle or suffered any sort of hardships. He was wearing a strange robe but as a noble, he could tell that it was very expensive even when he has never had any interest in such things.
There were two strange boxes floating around him and light was flowing from them into his body. This person must be a witch and must be performing some sort of witchcraft. He has heard about such people and they are very dangerous.
So he moved without making a sound and found his swords lying nearby him. He held the sword in his hand and moved closer to the person without making a sound and wanted to subdue him before he woke up.
Just as he was about to reach him, the man spoke:
"You woke up quite early. I thought that it would take you about more than half a day. It seems that there really is something special about you."
The moment the person sleeping woke up, Swain had already found him but he just didn't point it out and wanted to see what the man was going to do.
He opened his eyes and looked at the man holding sword in front of him. From the injuries this person had suffered, it would have taken at least 12 hours for him to wake up for a normal person, but the man woke up in just 3 hours.
Liam was stunned by the voice of man and when he saw the eyes of the person, he was lost. Those deep blue eyes seems to have all the oceans of the world in them. But soon he regained his composure:
"I am sorry for my behaviour. I was just being vigilant as there can be danger everywhere."
He looked and saw that the person just smiled and didn't say anything, so he continued:
"I am Liam Astros Griffin, the count of house of griffin. It seems that you saved me, I am thankful to you and I apologize for my rude behaviour."
Swain looked the man in front of him, and just said:
"it's OK, I just saved you out of some intrest. Now you can go."
Liam was lost at the words. The whole narrative he prepared for the next conversation was ended by this person in just a moment. Now he doesn't know what to say anymore.
Swain looked at the big man's now stunned and stupefied appearance and compared it with the fierce image of the bloodthirsty warrior few hours ago, he was amused and wanted to laugh. But he suppressed himself and asked:
"Is there anything you want to say or do you have anything to do with me."
Liam didn't know what to say. He has always been on battlefield and doesn't interact much with others, so he could only say:
"I just want to thank you properly for your help."
"But you have already thanked me and I have already accepted it."
" I am the count of house Griffin, if you need anything, I can help you with it." Liam tried to convince the person.
"So how will you help me?"
"I can provide you with land, money, and even a minor noble title if you want." Liam gave all his temptations and tried to convince the other party, but the man opposite was unmoved.
"But I don't need anything like that."
"If there is anything else, you can tell me. I will try my best to help you with it."
Swain looked at Liam who was desperately trying to convince him and looked at his whole naked upper body and asked:
"Will you give me anything I ask for?"
Liam didn't feel much and said: "You can tell me about it. If I can, then I will help you get it."
"Well, I want your body. Will you now give it to me?"
Liam was stunned and his whole body started to feel hot and his ear tips started turning red, he could only grith his teeth and asked:
"What do you mean by this?"
Swain saw that the person was uncomfortable and stopped teasing him. He then said:
"I mean I want to study your physique. I think you must know that you are special. You recovered four times faster than a normal person."
Liam was again stunned, it seems that he misunderstood his words previously and said: "Oh that's what you mean. I thought you wanted..... "
"What did you thought?" Swain asked with a smile.
"No, it's nothing."
