Chapter 41: Marks

Standing up from the ground Ali felt his whole body sore. The sounds of a few cracks rang out as he stretched his hands and back. He looked at his chest and stomach, there was no pain there. Looking at his hands all the bite marks of those zombies were gone and healed too.

He walked to the balcony of his house and looked at the darkened sky above. It was raining a little, and the more time he stared and stayed there, the more he felt rain becoming fiercer.

"The first rain after the apocalypse." Ali said as he felt the raindrops on his hands.

[That's my doing by the way.]

"Can you not make everything about you?" Ali said and laid back on a resting chair nearby.

He just kept sitting there in the rain with his eyes closed. His mind finally at peace as the sound of raindrops just calming all his nerves.
