Chapter 29: Disapproval

"Get lost before I'm forced to show you your place in this world kid." Adrian spoke in anger, if there was one thing he despised it was weakness and the Elementalist Aen class was believed to be just that.

"This guild has tolerated enough weaklings, not anymore." Adrian raged on and jumped down from the second floors balcony and landed right in front of Neo.

His figure was highly intimidating, his overtoned muscles and cryokinetic Aen prowess made him one of the most feared individuals in the kingdom. As well his presence as a member of the Dancing Dragon was also a contributing factor to the guild's popularity.

Neo stood his ground, while most people were already scared of their wits, Adrian couldn't intimidate Neo as much as he did others.

"Huh? You don't feel the need to run even when realizing the vast difference in our abilities? Talk about stupid!" Adrian exclaimed, asides being the most arrogant Aenist in the guild he was also the most violent.

He balled his right fist before sending it swiftly towards the chest of Neo, Neo instinctively blocked it by forming an "X" with his two arms in front of his chest. However the force behind Adrian's punch surpassed his stamina.

Neo's eyes widened in shock from the power behind Adrian's punch, he was launched off his feet and into the guild's walls. On making contact with the walls, Neo spat out saliva before falling to his knees.

"Reo!" Vanessa exclaimed with worry.

His body trembled feeling the impact of the blow, it was the first time since he transmigrated he came across such an opponent with overwhelming power. Not even George could match up to this.

Neo rised up to his feet, it was obvious that he was greatly overwhelmed by Adrian's power but he refused to give up.

"I'm... I'm not down yet!" He yelled with determination.

"What? Did I hold back too much?" Adrian asked himself as he approached Neo slowly. He was sure he put everything he had into that one punch yet he still managed to recover and get to his feet.

"Hm, it seems I held back a bit but don't worry." In the eyes of all the guild members that watched, Adrian vanished in plain sight. However he just moved so fast not even his guild members could keep up with his movements excluding the other S- Rank Aenists that were present.

Appearing in front of Neo, he balled his fist and smiled before he said "I won't be holding back this time around." He threw a punch directly at the stomach of Neo who ejected blood from his mouth as soon as the punch connected.

Like a rocket, Neo was launched through the walls of the guild and crashed into the ground before rolling several times away from the guild.

"Reo!" Vanessa yelled once more before running after him, Zeno grunted as he walked towards Adrian in fury.

"What's your problem!? You can't just -" He was cut short by a stern look given to him by Adrian.

"Know your place Zeno, in the first place your at fault for bringing in someone this weak into the guild. You'll answer to me once I'm done with this brat." Everyone including Zeno was terrified of these monster that is Adrian the most powerful Aenists in the guild excluding the guild master.

"Reo are you alright!?" Vanessa exclaimed as she approached Neo swiftly. Neo groaned and got up slowly to his knees. Adrian's power was truly overwhelming that he couldn't even see his movements.

"He's too fast..." Neo coughed out a bit of blood as he spoke.

"Just give up before he-" Before Vanessa could even reach Neo, Adrian appeared in front of him.

"I must commend your endurance, no one has ever taken two of my punches and still remained conscious. However endurance without a corresponding battle power is useless." Adrian exclaimed and grabbed Neo by the neck before lifting him up effortlessly.

"Adrian...stop." Sylvia spoke from behind him, in terms of favourable options who were most likely able to stop Adrian was Sylvia. She is one of the S- Rank Aenists and also belongs to the Knight Aen class so she came close to power to Adrian. "That's enough.." She added.

"Huh? You too Sylvia? Stay out of this or you'll be the second person I'll pummel!" Adrian exclaimed.

In a flash, Adrian gave a series of punches to Neo who fell to his knees with blood dripping down the right side of his face. At this point Neo became mute.

"Please stop him!" Vanessa pleaded with Sylvia who watched as Neo took a beating.

Sylvia grunted knowing she couldn't do anything, after all Adrian was not someone she could take on without casualties occuring.

"The next time a weakling like you steps foot into our guild, I'll kill you." Adrian spoke softly and turned around as he ended his assault on Neo who was currently on his knees.

As Adrian walked away, Neo tilted his head downwards and a shadow was casted over his eyes due to the length of his hair. "Shut up.." Neo spoke in a calm and deep voice.

"Huh?" Adrian halted as he heard the words of Neo and he became visibly enraged.

"A weakling like you? Telling me..to shut up?" As he spoke his eyebrows twitched before he snapped.

"Unacceptable!!" A burst of blue energy escaped his body and sent cripples through their surroundings. Cold energy surrounded his right hand and formed an ice gauntlet.

In rage, Adrian dashed at Neo and aimed a swift and precise punch towards his head. "I'll teach you respect!" As he said, he sent a blow towards the face of Neo. The force applied behind it completely crushed the ground beneath them and a cloud of dust engulfed them.

"Reo!" Vanessa exclaimed with a bit of tears in her eyes.

Sylvia remained quiet, she had already sensed a change in the aura that filled the environment.

As the dust settled, Adrian lost sight of Neo thinking he had eradicated him out of anger. "Damn...I went too far didn't I? Oh well" He stood up straight and turned around to head back into the guild.

"What!?" He exclaimed instantly as he saw Neo standing right in front of him.

"Reo?" Vanessa wiped her tears off as she noticed something different about him.

"You bastard! How did you survive that attack!?" In disbelief, Adrian dashed forward once more going for another attack. However his eyes widened as he couldn't see Neo anymore.

"What..?" He spoke softly as he found his face in the grasp of Neo's right hand.

BOOM!

A large sound was generated as Neo slammed Adrian into the ground.

Both Vanessa and Sylvia were taken aback by what had just occurred.

"Impossible!" Sylvia yelled in disbelief.

"What just happened?" Adrian asked himself in his thoughts as he was pinned into the ground, his body trembled at what his eyes had saw before he was slammed into the ground.

He stared into the eyes of Neo which reflected his dark underground background his current body grew up in.

"This sensation....is it...death?" He asked as his body trembled.
