Chapter 53: Gathering Fuel

After going through a few cars with fruitless results, Malachi finally found a hose. It was a small one, though, and wasn't particularly long, but it would make do. 

After getting the hose, the first thing Malachi did was to take the hose and fuel container in his hand to the fuel cap of the car he saw the hose. 

Upon reaching there, the first thing Malachi did was to open the cap of the fuel container and hold it up. After doing so, he then placed one end of the hose into the fuel cap and the other into the car tank.

I hope this works. There's no reason it shouldn't Malachi thought as he then placed the other end of the hose on his lips. It was dirty, but that wasn't the least of his concerns. 

Placing the other end of the hose on his lips, Malachi blew air into it and immediately rushed to place that end of the hose into the fuel container.
