Chapter 44: Kenjutsu hell 2

He paid the bill and left toward the house, their he met with Yomi who was just about to leave for her training
"Hi Yomi, how is your training going"
"leave that aside, you actually trained for 3 days straight, what about your health
Didn't we promise each other that we would not be reckless anymore" Yomi's face was full of concern when she said this
"Don't worry Yomi Sensei gave me a pill that will keep a person awake and full of energy for 3 days straight with the only downside of 1 full day of exhaustion
Due to this, today is my holiday"
"Who said I was worried for you, IDIOT" Yomi said and left him alone
'I will never understand her' Kaida thought and went toward his bed for much-needed sleep
kaida slept at 5 AM when he woke up the clock showed time 1 he thought it was 1 PM and he had slept for 8 hours straight
he went out of his bed to do a little stretching but he was surprised to see that it was dark outside and he had not slept for 8 hours but a full 20 hours
it was shocking because, in both of his lives, he had never slept this much, now he understood why Yukihiro Sensei said that he had to eat twice his normal serving
because he knew that he would be out for so much time, now that he was thinking it made sense since he had not slept for 3 days the time 20 hours of sleep was due to compound exhaustion of 3 days of exercise
he went toward his fridge not surprised to find only nutrient bars in it, he took out a few and ate them not having anything else to do he meditated for two and half hours then sent his clone in a different direction to buy things for breakfast
At 4 AM Yomi woke up from her sleep but it was not due to the alarm but the smell of breakfast coming from kaida's house, she quickly completed her morning routine, and just when she was going to open the gate the bell rang
"yomi I had made breakfast for both of us, so don't eat a nutrient bar for now
After you freshen up, come to my room for breakfast"
"I am ready now, let's go" Excitement was apparent on her face, Kaida just nodded his head and both of them went toward his house
One of the Kaida's clones opened the door and served the breakfast while the other was cleaning kitchen utensils
"I am really glad you learned shadow clone jutsu, this is the best way to use this jutsu," Yomi said
Kaida just laughed at this
After eating breakfast they went toward the Training area
Yukihiro was once again waiting for them, he once again gave kaida one soldier pill and once again a 3 day-sparing session began kaida himself was able to feel the improvement
Yukihiro was surprised that Kaida had not said anything about his way of teaching as it was not the first time he was teaching someone, most of the time his student would complain about him not teaching anything other than basic they could have learned their own
On the other hand, kaida was just doing exactly what he was told without questioning though from time to time he will ask some doubts but they will mostly be about their duels and how he can rectify the mistake he committed
Also, he was surprised by his talent in the fight kaida was putting now Yukihiro was sure he could handle any non-ninja swordsman on his own
Though ninjas were a different case, he had only been practicing for 6 days Yukihiro was getting a feeling that kaida would not only reach his level in the future but may very well surpass him
again he slept for 21 hours straight after 3 days of continuous practice followed by a hearty breakfast, he made his way towards the Training area with Yomi
this time it was not a duel, but the Yukihiro clone taught how to parry and defend against an attack for a full day they went on with this after which their duel started again
but this time it was more interesting as Yukihiro started attacking kaida too so he will also have to block his attacks as well as attack him
for 2 days straight they spared against each other day and night on the last day when 10 hours were left before kaida had to stop and rest for one day he was given a rest
that's when kaida thought that even though his growth was apparent he still had not learned what he wanted to learn when he asked to learn kenjutsu
he wanted to learn chakra flow in which you coat your weapon in different chakra and make it super deadly
he just had 15 days with Yukihiro at starting and now only 1 more round of 3 days of training is left before Yukihiro leaves for a mission kaida decided to ask if he was not ready to learn that or if there is something else
he went to Yukihiro and asked
"Sensei I had learned about chakra flow from the library, I was quite curious about that
It was written that chakra flow makes kenjutsu capable of competing against ninjutsu and genjutsu, but you have not taught me anything about this, Am I not qualified enough to learn that"
"Kaida I think you have some misunderstanding it is not chakra flow that makes kenjutsu powerful it is the user
No matter how powerful or sharp a sword is can't kill the opponent if the wielder is not strong enough
As for chakra flow, it is not that difficult but the problem is your sword let me give you an example"
Yukihiro picked Kaida's sword but just before he was going to flow his chakra into the sword he suddenly stopped because he remembered the price of the sword
He put the sword down and
*poop*
Two swords came out of the bracelet he was wearing he picked one sword and passed his chakra into it slowly it started glowing red Yukihiro sliced the sword toward a boulder and it passed through a boulder like a hot knife pass-through butter
But when it came out of the boulder the sword started melting down
"the reason you can't learn chakra flow is because…"
