Chapter 218: Thanking the System

The two patriarchs were paralyzed, and their Qi refused to circulate correctly. Their spiritual roots seemed to disconnect from the laws, and both quickly fell to the ground in a daze.

Seconds passed, then when the color returned to the world, they felt a massive amount of infernal laws being devoured at a distant point. Both still couldn't rise to the heavens, and they were far away; they could only see and faintly feel the movement.

After a minute, they saw in astonishment a trembling black pillar, resembling a flame, rising in the sky. They squinted and saw, unbelievably, a round figure in the center of it, ascending into the clouds higher and higher.
