Natalie and Terrence were both out of breath. They looked at each other. The intensity of their gaze was still there. 

A smile appeared on Natalie's lips. Terence's hands were still on her waist. Her cheeks were bright red from the kiss they had shared and the realization that had hit her just then. 

Terrence smiled back. He didn't let go of Natalie. It was not because of the special mission that he did that. He just didn't know what had gotten into him. 

Initially, he just wanted to surprise Natalie to see her reaction, but it resulted in this. Natalie looked so helpless earlier, and it suddenly made him want to kiss her.
