Synopsis

Synopsis:

Amara hid her beauty since she was young. Her mother told her that her beauty might become her ruin, therefore she wore a mask and hid the scar that her mother had given her. When she met Gerard who accepted her despite her ugliness, she believed he was the man destined for her.

But her fantasy was mercilessly broken after her lover sold her to an old nobleman for a pouch of gold coins.

She then met Azer, a man working at a bakery. Azer, who strikes her as a mysterious guy who suddenly appeared and invaded her broken heart which she swore to never let be swayed by another again, kept pouring her attention and kindness.

Can Amara trust a man again? Or will she forever cage her heart on the walls she built herself?

But what happens if, along the way of treasuring her newfound love, she learns that the scar she bears isn't just a simple scar, but a mark of a curse? As she gathers and unfolds the hidden and lost memories of her childhood, slowly, her identity is revealed. And so does the mystery surrounding Azer.

This novel is the next series after the story of Kyden and Mona [Summoned by a Pretend Villainess]. The novels aren't connected, but the world-building is the same. The characters were living in the same world. Check it out too^^

Shameless author leaving a review in her own book here! I mean why not? Another less review hunting for this book to be rated hehe, so if you pass by or even just take a peek, do leave your own review! Appreciate it a lot! And thank you very much! Bow.

The writing is very, very, very detailed and easy to understand. It really pulls you into the wonderful world that the author has created. The characters have such realistic and interesting reactions that I could not stop reading! I liked the concept and the cover (of course), but the writing really brought out everything that I was looking for. Great job!

Adding another review to complete the ten needed reviews for a visible rating :D shameless, but I'll summarize the plot here. So, basically, the FL was cursed - a curse that hides her identity to all those linked to her before the curse was given. She was raised by a witch (the one who cursed her) in another country away from her true family and homeland. In that country, she met the ML (a royal werewolf of another country) and they feelings developed. However, the FL was plagued with worry about the ML's fated mate (as werewolves has their Luna) which then appeared and claimed ML as her fated partner. This made the two broke up, but the ML showed willingness to abandon and reject his Luna because he fell madly in love with the FL. But of course, a major spolier >_< there was no way a werewolf could chose someone over their Luna, that's the myth, so the only reason why he can't let go of the FL, was because deep inside, even with a curse veiling their connection, the ML found his true Luna, that is the FL. If you're interested, go read it and dropped castles!! XD

Nice book. I had fun reading it, though there are some errors it isn't that big and it's still understandable. The updates are going well too. Nice job, author.

Vote, Add to the Library, and Read this novel will make your day! The way the author leads our emotions is pretty good. I'm about badmouthing the man from the first chapter. lol... Having the world designed as the one universe with the first book is a good move. It makes loyal readers try to read both books.

Although the story from the beginning somehow cliche and you can predict the scenes, the way the author tells the story is captivating, I'll stick around reading this, it has potential.

The way the author narrates the story is very detailed and sensual, but sometimes it became too much. The pace of the story is okay so I think this book will be good.

This story shows potential with its intriguing werewolf romance premise. The Alpha/mate trope is well-established and always draws readers in. The opening chapter does a nice job establishing the setting and power dynamics of the wolf pack. However, Luna's characterization could be strengthened. Beyond her status as the Alpha's daughter, her personality and motivations aren't yet clear. More could be done to make her feel like a fully-fleshed out protagonist from the start. The central conflict around Luna's mysterious curse is an interesting hook. But some context was missing around the curse's origins and effects that would heighten the stakes. A bit more world-building on werewolf culture/history could also enrich the story. Pace-wise, the initial meeting and growing attraction between the characters moved rather quickly. Their banter had some nice moments of tension but could be further developed to deepen their connection and make the romance feel more organic over time. That said, the author demonstrates a solid grasp of voice and story structure. Descriptions are vivid and help transport the reader to the lush forest setting. Overall the story has potential if characters continue gaining complexity and the curse's mystery is unravelled in an engaging way. With further development of themes, relationships and backstory details, this could become an immersive supernatural romance that keeps readers eagerly awaiting each new chapter. The foundations are there - building outward from them could take this story to the next level.
