Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Anonymous

"Anonymous," Zen called out as he stood at the door anxiously.

"Don't call me that," a dark infuriating voice was heard. Zen walked into the dark room which had no life in particular. It was lifeless the walls painted grey and black the curtains heavy black that no light could pass through.

"Can you at least open the windows," Zen growled in frustration as he walked towards the window.

"Don't you dare," he heard him say angrily.

It was him. Anonymous was his code name. The name that was widely known and loved but after ten whole years, it was the name that everyone had forgotten but his face was still around the city. Blacklisted and wanted for a crime he didn't do or didn't have any idea of.

At the age of eighteen, Alexander Myers, or the name everyone knew Anonymous had already made a name for himself. He was the greatest hacker and unshakeable but who knew in just a span of months he would be crushed down to nothing?

"Xander, do you plan on living your life in darkness? For heaven's sake it's been ten years do you plan on wearing a mask your whole life?" Zen scolded him but he didn't answer.

Xander was his short form and Zen loved calling him that.

"You are almost approaching thirty," he said but after seeing no reaction he went on again with his daily nagging.

"At least get yourself a wife or a kid we have surrogate women nowadays,"

"Get out," Alexander yelled scaring Zen but he was already used to Alexander's yelling so it didn't bother him that much.

"Fine," he sighed. Zen glanced at him before walking away in silence.

"I guess, we will try again tomorrow," he murmured. This was his life for the past ten years. He didn't understand why Alexander didn't bother to find out any clue to clear his name out but he didn't give up on trying to remind him.

The next morning, in Alexander's room.

"Why is it so dark in here, wait have you been drinking again? Is that smoke? Did you stay up all night again? Aaah! Jeez, do you want to kill me? The butler told me that you didn't even touch your food," Zen's voice resounded angrily across the room. Who knew taking care of a grown-up would be so damn hard.

"So noisy, do you have a death wish?" Alexander replied.

"Enough is enough, I'm not going to watch you die like this," Zen said as he walked towards the large windows. Within a second, light had already penetrated the room overtaking the darkness inside.

"Too much light," Alexander whined.

"You need a shave, when was the last time you shaved your beards?" He paused for a while," and your hair, at least try and look decent,"

He missed the old Alexander. He slowly stared at Alexander who had coiled up in his bed like a toddler with no care in the world.

Alexander immediately sat up and then stretched his hand out as he tried to locate a cigarette and a lighter.

"No, enough with the smoking, wash up I have something to show you downstairs in a bit," Zen nagged him.

"Is it necessary? I'm not going," Alexander replied nonchalantly.

"Then, I have no choice but to drag you down myself you haven't walked out of your room for days, let's take a walk around the garden,"

"No need, I rather sleep,"

"Then I guess I'll have to stay here and accompany you until you decide you want to go out," Zen said sarcastically.

"Get out!" He heard him yell after a while and a smile enveloped him.

"Then, I'll take that as a yes,"

"If you stay here for one more minute, I'll change my mind,"

"Okay, okay I'm out feel free to take your time," as he walked out of Alexander's room, he felt quite satisfied. He was determined to get him out of the house manor this time and of course, get him a wife at least.

He didn't mind it if Alexander wanted a soft, quiet, and a miserable life but what about him? He definitely wasn't ready to sacrifice his whole youth without a woman or rather any relationships especially being an extrovert. So after spending his whole night thinking and meditating, he came to a conclusion. Love.

Only love would help him change his attitude or rather a woman. He wanted Alexander to experience a new side and by doing that, it might ignite and bring back his fighting spirit.

"What? This better be good if you are not asking for a death sentence," Alexander walked down the stairs his hair slightly wet from his shower.

"Your mask? Don't forget to carry it?" It's been ten years and he was already used to putting on a mask especially when he wasn't in his study room or bedroom places where not everyone could access it.

"Mmmh," he replied after covering his face.

Despite being twenty-eight years old, his face was still dashing and as handsome as ever. His blue eyes glowed from his black mask.

"What a waste! What's the point of being this handsome with no one by your side," Zen mumbled as he stared at Alexander's perfect features.

"It seems I've grown soft on you," Alexander growled.

"No, no, I didn't mean it," Zen stuttered.

"Let's take a walk, as we talk," Alexander said walking towards the door.

"So what is it? What did you want to tell me?" He broke the silence again.

"I have a list of women that might interest you, do you want to take a look?"

"No need, I won't like them,"

"But you haven't even seen them they are really pretty and sexy,"

"Not interested too troublesome," he replied. But that gave Zen hope at least he didn't reject him which meant he still had a chance if he found the right woman.

"How about you tell me the kind of lady that will interest you,"

"Simple, poor, no background, no education," Alexander replied casually not giving much thought to it.

"Wait, where will I find one in this society?" Zen replied after a while slightly puzzled.

"Then don't bother me,"

"Okay, okay I'll find her no matter what it takes,"

"Good, I hope you know my rules and draft a contract,"

"Yes, yes rule number one Dont fall in love with the Young Master, rule number two She is forbidden to see the Young Master's face, rule number three after giving you an heir she is not allowed to come close to the baby," Zen said seeing that Alexander was expressionless he heaved a sigh of relief.

"You can include everything on the contract once I find the appropriate girl,"

"I'm going back to my room,"

"Wait, I have one more condition," Zen said.

"Speak,"

If there was one person who knew and understood Alexander well it could be Zen himself. Inorder to reach an agreement with Xander it had to be something that benefitted him as well so this was his turn.
