Chapter 49: A Good Treat

The moment Roy saw Anna stepping out of the building, he rolled down the car window. "There you are," he said while offering a small smile.

Roy had been in a terrible mood since he left Rebecca at the restaurant, but as soon as he saw Anna, a smile that reached the eyes automatically found its way to his face.

Anna returned the smile just as Sophia stepped out from behind her. "That face looks familiar," she said as she squinted at Roy's figure sitting inside the car with a sunglass covering his eyes.

Hearing that, Anna turned to her to say, "I will take my leave now. We can talk later."

"You are not going to introduce us?" Sophia looked dumbfounded. Anna just broke up with her boyfriend, so she was confused about what was going on.

Before Sophia could finish her thoughts, Anna said to her, "Next time," before walking towards the jeep.
