Chapter 7: Leaf Bracelet!
Jun Moxie started to work on the idea of refining energy in the body and making it purer, calmer, gentler and easier to control.
The method that Paper gave him was simple. He just has to create a rune on his body and it will start refining the energy. The more runes he creates, the stronger would be the speed of refining and with 5 runes, his energy would be refined in a month.
Then it would be easy for him to control the Spirit Energy and make Spirit Skills, instead of just using his body and techniques to fight.
While Jun Moxie worked on this, Xiao Wu, who had been roaming around the Academy appeared in the Training Ground and saw Jun Moxie sitting on the tree.
"Moxie," She shouted as she rushed in his direction and jumped to the sitting and looking at him, she asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Working,"
"Working on what?"
Jun Moxie looked at Xiao Wu and a smirk appeared on his face. Seeing the smirk, Xiao Wu's expression changed and she had a feeling that something bad was going to happen and it happened.
"Pet," Jun Moxie said and Xiao Wu's expression changed. She gave him a resentful glare, which a moment later changed to a submissive expression and she asked, "Yes, Master."
"Start cultivating here and stop bothering me," Jun Moxie said as he started to write in his notebook while Xiao Wu nodded and she started to cultivate with her eyes closed.
A thought appeared in Jun Moxie's head, but he shook his head and decided to do it later instead of now.
Time passed by and in the blink of an eye, a month passed by and Jun Moxie was done refining his Spirit Energy and now he planned on learning a few skills.
In the month, while he refined his energy, he increased his writing speed, after all, even if he learned the Skills, Editing Reality with Pen is his Innate skill, while others are acquired.
They may have many barriers but his Innate Skill only needs energy.
In the month, every day, Xiao Wu would hang out with him when she wasn't cultivating and if she annoyed him, he would just make her Pet and order her.
She also started to gain resistance to his orders and now she could delay the change by 3s, and Jun Moxie attributed it to her willpower and mentality getting stronger.
Not that it mattered to him as he knew that she wouldn't be able to betray him or 'harm' him in any way.
Jun Moxie also had signed a contract with Ah Yin, and now he kept her summoned and she would be around his wrist like a bracelet, and absorb excess Spirit Energy.
When he summoned her first time, Xiao Wu was stunned and she started to fight with him. Later, she didn't speak to him for a week even though she hung out with him, and seeing her behavior, Jun Moxie had no words to say.
In the training ground, Jun Moxie sat on the tree with a leaf floating and spinning in his hand. He had a grin on his face and he controlled the leaf and threw it in the direction, and it cut off four leaves sharply and then it fell down.
From his hands, very thin energy strings rose and then moved to the leaves of the tree and bound them.
"It's weak, I need to strengthen them enough to be able to pull a man and sharpen them enough to pierce like a needle and cut like a knife."
Pulling the leaves, he controlled them and at the side, Xiao Wu watched everything with a stunned expression on her face.
"How are you doing this? Is this your spirit Skill?" She asked and Jun Moxie looked at her and said, "If you can control the energy in your body and move it outside, you should be able to do it."
"I can't do it, isn't that the reason why I am asking this," Xiao Wu asked with a resentful expression on her face as she looked at him controlling everything from a distance.
"Hmm, Do you want to learn this?" He asked and Xiao Wu nodded at him.
A thoughtful look appeared on Jun Moxie's face as he looked at Xiao Wu and he nodded.
"Good, show me your back. I will make the runes that will help you."
"Huh?" Xiao Wu asked as she looked around and said, "We are outside,"
"Hmm, I know. Wait for me until I finish doing a few things and then we will go outside the Academy."
Jun Moxie said as he put he raised his hand and thought of creating a Fireball. Nothing happened and minutes later, a small spark of fire appeared in his and seeing this, he muttered, "I guess I will just start with symbols and seals, That's the reason why they developed spells, circles or symbols, to get the general idea and do the specific process."
Again, he raised his hand and this time instead of just thinking about the Fireball, he thought of the process and when he was done, he created a symbol in his mind regarding the process.
Soon, a small spark of fire appeared in his hand and moments later, he just thought of the symbol and the spark of fire appeared in his hand instantly.
"Hah! Let's go," Jun Moxie said as he jumped down with a bunch of leaves floating around his hand and he manipulated them while walking. Looking at the scene, Xiao Wu snorted and she jumped down while she grumbled inwardly about how bad Jun Moxie was.
"What is the age of Ah Yin?" He asked as he pointed at his bracelet made of leaves and Xiao Wu looked at it and said, "Just a few hundred years, nothing impressive."
"Hmm," Jun Moxie nodded and he looked at the bracelet, a smile appeared on his face and seeing this, Xiao Wu felt irked for no reason.
Soon, they reached a small place that Jun Moxie bought in the Nuoding City. It belonged to a drunkard whom he gave a few coins and bought the house.
When the drunkard came back to ask for more money, Jun Moxie smiled at him and from next day, the man stopped drinking and decided to live like an honest person.
