Chapter 14: Really Strong!
I wake up and get ready to leave this town and get to the next floor because I need to get out of this dungeon as fast as I take out the compass and look at the direction that it is pointing, "South okay let's go," I said walking out of the room I was renting getting out of the inn I head out of town through the gate once out and a bit far away I use |Wings| to fly south after a few minutes of flying I see a ruined temple in the middle of nowhere. Landing near it I see that there is moss and plants gown on and around the temple and that there is a big entrance in the front looking into the temple I see that Plateforme just sitting there "So no monster just a town floor great," I said walking in and getting closer I hear something fly through the air looking at where it is coming from I see an arrow flying at me so I catch it from the air.
"well well look at what we have right he a traveler and what'd we do to travelers," said a voice from where the arrow came from then another voice spoke up "Hehe hehe we kill them," They said then a "yeah," from like four different voices. They charge at me not wanting to waste time I use |Freeze| on them getting a good look at them I see that they are your common bandit and the smell coming from them is terrible I kill three of them with a simple slash from my Cleaver leaving two "please don't kill us we thought you were a traveler not a runner we will do anything please," said the first one to speak up "What is a runner could you tell me and you might live<" said confused "Will a runner is chosen by a high power or GOD to win a race against other runners and they can use these things called skills and they are powerful while a traveler is a person who goes around selling their wares around the dungeon and they have signed a contract with a high power or GOD to move the dungeon free and no monsters attack them," he said.
I kill them after I get what I need his expression is one full of rage and betrayal but I did say he might survive I walk to the platform and look back at the dead I suddenly get scared 'What why did I kill them and feel nothing like they were just bugs or cleaning dust from a shelf," that scared me what was changing me 'I am getting more closed hearted and yeah they might have tried to kill me but I could be a judge but not the executioner will what's done is done but it does not make me feel any more for the dead just have to home right nothing else matters only getting home,' *sigh* I step on the platform and enveloped in the light I head to the next floor.
[Ding User has made it to the 6th-floor rewards: a Can of beans and a worn fruit basket]
"What the hell are these rewards stupid fucking system," looking around I see some stairs going up walking up them I see a forest pulling out the compass I gain fly to the platform and there is a boss monster throwing a |Fire Spear| I kill it with on shot getting closer I see it was a Troll but stepping on the platform and going on to the next floor.\
[Ding user has made it to the 7th-floor rewards: A blanket and half or a mirror]
"Again these stupid rewards I know I am strong but I still want some good stuff," looking round I see stairs going down so I go down them and make it to a cave floor following the compass I make it to the platform but I killed a lot of kobold on the way and the boos monster is bigger kobold that can talk but I kill him with little effort and step on the platform.
[Ding user has made it to the 8th-floor rewards: Toy Rabbit and shoe box]
All I did was go from floor to floor and after a while, I was on the 67th floor and all I got was trash rewards one was a used pair of underwear which I burned.
(Scene Break)
'So how is everyone runner Hmmm~," said the announcer curious.
'Good,"x8
"what about yours Crystal and Crane," said the announcer.
"he fell for a seduction trap and almost died if not for one of his skills," she said frustrated.
"And you Crane," the announcer turned to Crane who was smiling to himself.
"I think he lost it, Mote," Whispered Drax to Mote.
"He has made it to the 67th floor if you want to know," Crane said with a smirk.
"WHAT," x9
"I did not realize he got that strong how much time did it take Hmmm~," said the announcer.
'Hmm~ about four hours I think," said Crane.
"How did he get so strong," said Mote wide-eyed.
"Mostly luck but what type of job rank did your runners get," Crane said smirking.
"Why should we Crane," said Mote.
"I think you should take that offer," said the announcer smiling "You might learn something interesting," he continued.
"Fine," said Drax
"Epic," said Drax and Bud
"Rare," said Crystal, Trop, and Emily.
'Uncommon," said Mote and Michael.
"Legend," said Creed and Nixan.
"Divine," said Crane smirking.
comments like "WHAT THE HELL YOU MUST HAVE CHEATED," or "HOW DID YOU DO IT CHEATER," or "YOUR LYING," came his way but he did not say anything else. They turned to the announcer expecting an answer all they got was a "He was not lying, and no cheating detected," and he said all this while smiling. They were livid on how he got so strong and wanted to know but Crane did not say anymore on the matter.
