Chapter 11: Third Prince of The Grand Central United Kingdom
"Ruth, why are both of your faces look pale" Ronin asked him.
Ruth replies him but his voice was low, "Ronin, you knows that we came from 'The Grand Central United Kingdom' and you also knows that we are related to the Royal family, right?"
Ronin was surprised, he thought why is Ruth speaking of all this now, I knows that he is related to the Royal family of The Grand Central United Kingdom but why is he talking about it now, "Yes, I knows that and also knows that the position you hold is not small but what is all that related to this?"
Ruth spoke again "Well, I am, Ruth von Brista, the third prince of the Grand Central United Kingdom and in Kingdom I am also known as 'The Magical Knight'"
Ronin was shocked to hear this, he exclaimed "Ruth, I have known that you are related to the Royal family but I didn't know that you are the Third prince of the Central Kingdom. But I am most surprised to hear that you are 'The Magical Knight' that is known throughout the World for his Swordsmanship and Magical abilities that has surpassed Magicians. He is also rumored to be 'Invincible',are you that, really"
Flora spoke, "He was really good in Magic even better than most of the Magicians but he chose Swordsmanship instead of Magic. At that time I was really angry at him but now that I thinks about it, I am really happy that he decided to learn both and then apply Magic in Sword, even after all this years he stills practices his Swordsmanship"
Suddenly Ruth spoke, "Yeah, I wouldn't want my Sword skills to put to rust with time, that's why I practices it and on one thought Magic, I thinks that there is still too much that I don't know about Magic. Actually now that I think about past if given second choice I would definitely pick up Magic. I want to see what I can do if I didn't waste that much time to learn Swordsmanship and fully focus that time to learn Magic. Hahaha, how wonderful that would be"
Hearing this Ronin was surprised and almost coughed up blood by what Ruth has said, "Ruth, how can you say something like this. For many Knights you are their role model and they wants to become someone like you.
And here you are saying that you wouldn't have chosen Sword and instead would have learn more Magic.
You.... You even used the word 'waste time to learn Swordsmanship' if any Knight heard this then they would have chocked themselves because of shock "
Ruth laughed out loud and said "Well, that is my own personal opinion. Yeah I would be happy if I have chosen Magic but I also don't regret the fact that I choose Swordsmanship. It's either this or that but all this comes to an end someday after all."
Prin was surprised to hear all this so he asked, "Dad, are you the third prince of the Central United Kingdom? And you are also very good at Magic but I didn't see you use Magic anytime?"
At this time Emily was also listening to them but she didn't spoke up as she didn't wanted to intervene in this and she only continued to listen them talk.
Then Prin added "If you are third prince then why are we living in Uncle Ronin's Kingdom, 'Flaming Kingdom' and not in Central Kingdom. " prin asked him as he was very curious because his father and mother didn't tell him about this before not in this life and not even in his previous life, so he was more surprised than anyone here.
Ruth was somewhat hesitant to answer Prin but he told him everything, "Well, Prin, after I became famous and was called as 'The Magical Knight' . My big brother, George and my second brother Timmy both suggested my father to make me as King of the Kingdom. But I didn't wanted to become King and I clearly told my father that I wouldn't become the King ,no matter what happens.
Then my father asked me 'My son,Ruth, why don't you want to become the King, our Kingdom is strongest among all Kingdom and we are also righteous and doesn't support evil ,even if they are from our family they must be punished. I don't see any reason why you don't want to become the King but if you really don't want to then I won't force you'
After my father said that he won't force me, i was very relieved to hear that. But he asked me the reason for that.
I answered him honestly 'Father, I am third prince, and will do anything for our Kingdom but I can't become King, because I am not ready to take responsibility. I also want to improve in Swordsmanship and Magic, so that I can become strongest and unrivaled, and can be useful if someday large attacks of Demon Army takes place.
Father, another reason is that, if I really become King then I can't practice Sword and Magic and, in War ,I will have to sit back even when our soldiers and Knights are dying to protect us, and i can't do that.
I fear that if I become King and War occurs then I won't be able to control myself and go to fight but in case if something happens to me than the moral of whole Army will break and the laws and orders will not be stable so our whole Kingdom might not be able to make it and fall."
After explaining this whole story Ruth's father was surprised by that, his son thought so much if he became king and if he dies and if he continues the path of Sword and Magic. Hahaha he really is genius , he is considered best in Sword and Magic but he even has the trait of Good King.
Ruth adds," Prin do you know what my father said after I explained him all this?"
"No, what did he say?"
"He said, 'Ruth after listening to you, now I wants you to become King even more than before.
You are thinking far, far ahead, considering every possibilities, but by that I came to find that you can't see our soldiers and Knights dying while protecting us and our Kingdom and because of that you can't sit back and watch.
Ruth, my dear son, I am truly proud of you, you are the best choice to be King but I feels that there is something even more better that you can do that you can't when you become a King.
So now, I declare that my third son, Ruth von Brista will not become King and Ruth you continue to practice Sword and Magic.
I have something that I want to give you. Come with me to the Treasure vault."
'Ruth, George and Timmy then follows their father to the Treasure vault. They arrived at the most deeper part of the Treasure vault but there wasn't anything there but just a Book which looked very old, it's title was written as 'The Lengendary Magic'.
