Chapter 96: Tight Budget

"I beg your pardon." Samayra looked at the woman in confusion. 

"I am sure the knights here need new weapons. I will visit your land and buy a new lot with the head of the knights and a weapon expert. I hope you will welcome us then." Samayra's eyes widened. She turned to look at Damien who nodded, assuring her.

"That.." she had asked Damien for help in yesterday's meeting. She knew if he would buy from her, others would too. But he had not given her a concrete answer. He had only told her that he would think about it. But now that his wife had offered, he had readily accepted the offer? The thought shocked her but at the same time, she was relieved. Her shoulders quivered a bit. 

This could be their best chance. Her voice strained.. Full of emotions. 

"Thank.. You, your grace. I will prepare the best weapons for you." Samyra bowed her head, this time with more respect.
