Chapter 126: With Him

The sound of another whip brought Evan out from her stupor. He was getting whipped in front of a goddess in an abandoned church. This did not make sense at all. Yet it was happening in front of her eyes.

She turned but Crispin immediately blocked her way. He looked surprised at her actions.

"When I told you to go and share his sins, it was mockery. You can not go and do that." he warned her but she only glared at him.

"And who are you to decide? He is my husband. All his sins belong to me. We have vowed to share happiness and pain." his eyes narrowed at her as if he was contemplating her words and just when she had thought he would give in, he chuckled.
