Chapter 244: Playing Victim

"My lady!" Hazel smiled sweetly as Eve entered the room. There was no sign of hostility or rage she was showing earlier. A lot of parchments were spread on her table and Eve noticed she had already completed most of them.

Diana would have taken a day, complained hundreds of times, and still not completed the work. Hazel was better, no doubt. Trained to do all the work. But Eve still wanted to throw her out of the building.

She forced a smile on her face. 

"I have completed all the tasks Emma offered me. What am I supposed to do now?" she asked with her eyes glimmering that Eve felt the loss of words.
