Chapter 32: First single
Last night Noah went to bed late, so he slept for a long time in the morning. While he was enjoying his sweet sleep as it was a weekend and a holiday, Alicia came running to Noah's room and started shouting:
"Brother, your song has been released."
"Look how many people have already heard it."
Noah who was disturbed of his sleep was a little angry, but all his anger was swept away by the words which he heard. He immediately jumped up from the bed and came to Alicia's side running.
"Show me."
He took the phone from his sister and started checking the status of the song.
"Just wanna tell you" has been released for about 9 hours now, the global radio steaming volume has exceeded 1 million with 10k sales already. This is much more than what Noah expected.
"Where is my phone?" Noah stared searching for his phone and finally found it under the bed sheet. The phone was on silent and there were already many missed calls and numerous text messages. He ignored them all and called Max. The phone was immediately connected and a happy voice sounded from the other end:
"Looks like you finally saw it."
"Why didn't you informed me the exact release time?" Noah was a little unhappy now. His song was released and he was sleeping soundlessly at home.
"It's not me, it was Theo's idea. He didn't want you to worry about it." Max said. "And you can now rest for a few days. We will still working after a break."
Noah nodded and hanged up the call and start looking at the details. He doesn't know how much this achievement matters for a newcomer, but anyone who knows European and American pop music understands that it is not easy for a newcomer to top instant charts.
It is early 2003 and there are many celebrities who are making a big name for themselves including Brittany spears, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Eminem, etc. They all have releases big hits recently. So it is really a big success for a song to instantly become a success by a newcomer.
Although a big reason for getting so much publicity may be due to Noah's status as an actor too, but it's still a great feat. The data is growing fast and after 16 hours of release, the steaming volume on radio has exceeded 3 million.

"Everyone" in the room, Theo stood in front of a grand piano in the living room, knocking the champagne in his hand to attract everyone's attention.
"The data of the first week of the single "Just wanna tell you" was updated. The radio steaming volume has exceeded 100 million. The purchase and download volume has reached number 14 on the charts with debuting at number 40 on Billboard Hot 100 and also entering the top charts of 38 other countries."
Theo's voice was filled with excitement and happiness, he continued:
"At the same time, single also has more than 100 million streams on radio. The curve is also showing green signs, so look forward to more success."
"The biggest contributor of this success is, Noah Martin."
He came to Noah's side and raised the wine glass to everyone, "To Noah."

After that, the celebration started but Noah could not stay till late so he left for, but the party continued till the morning.
On the way back home, David who was driving spoke, "Congratulations again."
Noah's attention was attracted and he smiled back, "Thank you. Its all a result of blessings."
