Chapter 20: Switch!
"I will send all the poisons later with their antidote," Orochimaru said and he wanted to send Kidou away from his place. He knew that if Kidou remained there for a few more minutes, he would say some things about Jiraiya, that only he knew and then,
'Jiraiya will really remain in hospital for whole life,'
Hearing this, Kidou came back to his senses and he nodded at him.
"Also, do you have anything that symbolises you? I need to use your name."
"Huh?"
"You know that Tsunade loves to gamble, right? I plan on taking care of all the Gambling Dens in Konoha and controlling them," Kidou said with a grin on his face and seeing this, Orochimaru asked, "Don't you have training to do?"
"Training? Don't even talk about this! Don't you know that I only have chunin-level chakra reserves? Even if I know many Ninjutsu, what can I do with meagre reserves? Only two Ninjutsu and I am out of chakra."
"Besides," Kidou whispered to Orochimaru and he nodded at his words.
"If Daimyo can control Hokage based on Money, wouldn't it be better to earn and hire you three as 'Guards'?"
"Hm, You are right," Orochimaru muttered as he heard this and a thoughtful look appeared on his face.
"So, I was thinking of using your Identity as a Mediator between the deals I will make with owners there. If I used my own, they would just complain to Hokage about Ninja bullying civilians but if it's your identity, They will just accept everything."
Orochimaru looked at Kidou and said, "Hmm, I will give this!"
Saying this, Orochimaru summoned a white snake and said, "With this, you can contact me easily and I will be there if you need me."
Kidou looked at the snake and then he took a notebook and started to write. Seeing this, a curious look appeared on Orochimaru's face and minutes later, Kidou said, "Send this Snake to a place and then use these seals."
"Hmm?" Orochimaru took the notebook and looked at the hand seals and the way of chakra shown in them. He practised the seals a few times and then sent the Snake to another part of a room, where he made the seals.
Orochimaru disappeared from the place and appeared in the place of the snake and vice versa.
Seeing this, a stunned look appeared on his face and he said, "Did I just teleport?"
"Reverse Summoning or Switching Places would be the correct word. Just like how you summoned the snake, the seals I made would just switch the places with your summons!"
"But for this to happen, the displacement between the Summoner and Summoned Being should be less than 10km," Kidou said as he looked at Orochimaru.
"I can improve it to any distance but for that, I will have to study a bit more and then do a few trial and error. What do you think of this?"
"Kidou Kun, you know that this Jutsu you made could be used for many purposes? I can just use the Jutsu to infiltrate using the snakes and then reverse summoning myself."
"Hmm? But chakra is used when you will reverse summon yourself and your chakra would be noticed by the barriers around the village."
"That? It could easily be solved by leaving a clone or anything." Orochimaru said as he started to think of ways to use the Jutsu.
"Also, just imagine! Summoning hundreds of snakes on battlefield and the killing ninjas using them! Just like Second Hokage's Jutsu."
"Hmm, It is based on Second Hokage's Flying Thunder God. Instead of seals, I am using the Summoned Animals. Also, the range of this Jutsu is much smaller than the original."
"Anyways, I will take my leave as I have a meeting with the Owner at Gambling Den on the Northern Side. You can just think of the techniques. Also, the snake doesn't bite, right?" Kidou asked as he looked at the white snake and Orochimaru chuckled at his words.
"Kuku! No, it doesn't. You can rest assured about this."
"Hmm." Kidou left the room and looking at his back, Orochimaru shook his head and muttered, "I guess I need to train a bit more snakes! Should I gamble too?"
Moving outside, Kidou had a thoughtful look on his face and he muttered, "Was that right? I don't know, but I just did what I felt like."
'Even though I know that I should be cautious, I just can't sit around and do nothing, and wait for the future to happen! If I can influence them before and change them, it is good!'
'Well, Let's go to the Gambling Den, They should be open in the morning,'
Kidou disappeared from the place, not knowing someone had already started to show interest in him.
Arriving in the gambling den, he walked in and saw the Owner from before, flinching at his sight.
"I am here to play, give me chips for 100,000," Kidou said and the owner moved away at high speed.
One hour later, Kidou looked at the owner kneeling on the floor and asked, "What do you want?"
"Please Stop playing in the Den and go to the next one."
"Hmm? You own this or are you working for someone?"
"Even though I call myself as Owner of the place, I am working for Mr Kasuke. He is the real owner of all six Gambling Dens in Konoha."
"Hmm! Where can I meet him?"
"Huh?"
"Schedule a meeting with me or I will bankrupt all the six Gambling Dens. No! Scratch that! Tell him that I want all six Gambling Dens! I will be going to the other five and win there." Kidou said and he walked away from the place while the 'Owner' had a stunned look on his face. He hurriedly moved to the back to write a letter to Kasuke.
Just like Kidou said, for the next few hours, he played at the Gambling Den, winning millions of ryos until they couldn't pay him anymore. He said the same thing to the other five 'Owners'.
Looking at the sun, Kidou understood that it was already time for Kushina, and he went to the Academy to pick her up. Reaching the Academy, he stayed outside and saw Kushina coming out of the class, alone.
His expression changed as Kidou looked at the mark on her face and Kidou narrowed his eyes.
Appearing in front of Kushina, he asked, "Who did this?"
