Amber was quick to respond when Leo asked if he could trust them.
"Yes! We can watch your back while you go through whatever it is you will be going through.
Anything to get away from dealing with these disgusting animal corpses!"
Leo couldn't help but laugh.
He too had been just like her when he first began to dismantle his kills. Any chance to take a break was a chance worth seizing.
With Amber's confirmation, Leo turned towards Robin, "Alright, I'll take your word for it. Can I assume that you two have never used a firearm before?"
"Your assumption would be correct," Amber replied.
"Figures. Alright, I'll give you two a quick rundown on how they work but I shouldn't be out of commission for more than a few minutes, 15 tops, so I doubt you'll have a need to use them. Robin, pay attention because I only want to say this once."
Robin didn't answer immediately so Leo turned to look at her and found her staring blanky back at him.
Leo had no idea what she was thinking about but since he wanted to get this process started as soon as possible he hollered out towards her, "Robin are you listening?"
"I'm sorry, I was thinking about something. What were you saying?" Robin replied.
'This girl.. what is she doing spacing out now when I'm giving them a chance? I wonder if she's thinking about some boy she left behind.. huh? That's not important right now Leo, focus!'
With an expression of annoyance due to letting himself get distracted, Leo gave the two girls a rundown on how the pistols worked.
It was pretty clear that Robin wasn't paying attention, but Leo figured he didn't have to worry much since the first time he went through this process he retained his consciousness completely and the pain was barely enough to make him flinch.
After finishing his explanation, Leo found a large boulder to rest his back against while he opened the class selection menu.
He managed to hear Amber teasing Robin about staring at something, but Leo ignored it and focused on the window that had appeared in front of him.

Ignoring all other options, Leo selected the Unique Classes and immediately started reading through the list
[Unique Classes:
Technomancer: These magic users specialize in the fusion of magic and technology. They can control machines, hack into virtual realities, and even infuse their own bodies with cybernetic enhancements.
Aetherblade: Aetherblades are skilled swordsmen who can materialize and control energy blades made of pure aether. They are known for their incredible agility and precision in combat.
Geomancer: Geomancers draw power from the earth itself. They can manipulate terrain, summon earthquakes, control plants, and commune with nature spirits.
Dreamweaver: Masters of the dream realm, dreamweavers can enter and manipulate dreams. They can create illusions, delve into others' dreams, and even extract information or emotions while their targets sleep.
Soulforged: Soulforgers have the ability to craft and manipulate souls. They can forge soul weapons, trap souls within objects, and harness the energy of captured souls for various magical purposes.
Luminar: Luminars are beings of pure light and possess the power to control and shape light energy. They can blind enemies, create illusions, and even heal wounds with their radiant energy.
Plague Doctor: Plague doctors are masters of alchemy and toxins. They can create deadly poisons, brew powerful healing elixirs, and have an innate resistance to diseases. They often wear masks and use unique gadgets for protection.
Stellar Sage: Stellar sages draw power from celestial bodies like stars and planets. They can channel cosmic energy to cast devastating spells, read the stars for prophecies, and manipulate gravity to control the battlefield.
Echo Knight: Echo Knights can create duplicates of themselves that fight alongside them. These duplicates, known as echoes, mimic the echo knight's actions and can be used for strategic advantage in battles.
Chronoknight: Masters of time manipulation, chronoknights can rewind time, slow down enemies, and even glimpse into the future to predict their foes' moves.

Reading through the list Leo was absolutely certain of what his choice would be until he read the next option, then he was certain that that would be the choice, and then he read the next.
And so on and so on until he reached the end of the list.
He wanted them all!
Whatever he chose now would basically define his achievements in the future.
A wrong choice now, and it was all over.
Thinking he had plenty of time, Leo was going back and forth between each class, reading every word carefully, making sure not to miss a single detail that was provided, but all of a sudden, the Technomancer class disappeared from the list.
Leo desperately scrolled up and down thinking that maybe it had moved, but to no avail.
When he exited the Unique class list, as if it was the only thing on the screen the (10 Choices Remain) now read (9 Choices Remain).
'Fuck! Someone else is already level 10?! How the fuck is that possible?!
Shit, fuck! Now isn't the time to waste thinking about that! If one person has already reached level 10, in addition to me, then who's to say their aren't more?!
I have to choose right now!'
Leo quickly opened the window back up and immediately eliminated the classes that didn't appeal to him or his usual fighting style.
Although he had used long range attacks to fight the past 30+ hours, it was more for convenience than preference.
His style and preference had always been, and would always be, to get up in his enemies faces and cut them down!
Which left him with two choices, Aetherblade and Chronoknight.
Chronoknight sounded incredibly powerful based on the description, but Leo knew that every class, no matter how strong or unique, had its drawbacks or negatives.
He had seen countless higher tier classes lose to even the most basic of classes.
Which meant that Aetherblade was likely the safer of the two choices since it focused more on the combat and less on the magical prowess of the class.
But then again, who didn't want to control time?! Plus the fact that it had knight in the title meant that it was tailored more towards melee combat supplemented by time control rather than only trying to control the battle through time manipulation.
'Ah fuck it! Trust your gut Leo! Just as you've always done!'
After psyching himself up, Leo closed his eyes and made his selection.
