Lelin's voice carried a hint of anticipation as he took the empty bottle from her and asked, "Do you notice any difference?"
She nodded slowly in response, "My headache has lessened. I'll be able to sleep better now."
Upon hearing her words, Lelin let out a long sigh filled with frustration and sadness. It seemed as though he had hoped the medicine he had given her would completely cure her and alleviate her pain. His ears drooped slightly, indicating his current state of disappointment.
Morsan, who had been observing the entire scene without interruption, asked with a concerned tone, "Lelin, do you know her?"
"This girl's name is Lupiney. She is a unique halfling, born from the union of a werewolf and a girl from the dog demi-human race.
Like me, she is a victim of war, having lost both her parents in the conflict.
