Chapter 62: Elena meets The Mikaelsons
Caroline: "I'm confused, are you a psychic or clairvoyant?"
Bonnie: "technically, grams says I'm a witch, my ancestors were these really cool Salem witch chicks or something, grams tried to explain it but she was looped on the liquor, so I kinda tuned out. Crazy family, yes, witches, I don't think so"
Caroline: "Yeah, feel free to conjure up the number of that guy from last night"
Bonnie: "I didn't see him, you did. Why didn't you just talk to him?"
Caroline: "we did talk for a bit, but I left him standing there all by himself, I don't know what came over me then"
Malia: "what are you two talking about?"
Caroline and Bonnie were walking through the hallway and having a conversation when Malia sneak up behind them.
Caroline: "geez, you scared me there, why are you here, I thought you would be with Henrik like a lap dog or something?"
Caroline sad as everytime you see Henrik, there is Malia, she did not understand why she is following him like a pet dog.
Malia looked at Caroline and beamed a smile at her before she said.
Malia: " you shouldn't have said that, you might not know what will happen"
Caroline and Bonnie felt chill when they looked at Malia's crazy smile.
Bonnie: "um, I think we are going off track here, can we all calm down?"
Bonnie said trying to diffuse the situation.
Malia: "I'm cool, she is the one who needs to grow up and I can help with that"
Caroline: "how are you going to do that?"
Malia hearing Caroline's provocation slowly walked up to her but she stopped when she sensed someone looking at their direction. She turned to see a young attractive man looking at her and the rest of the girls.
Malia: "hey, what are you looking at?"
The other girls turned to look at who Malia was talking to.
Caroline: "Vlad, you are here, that's a surprise, I thought you were just passing through town?"
Vlad: "I said I was coming into Mystic Falls, when I decided to stop by at the party, also a friend of yours?"
Vlad asks as he saw the way Malia was looking at him intensely like she is going to rip him apart.
Caroline: "yeah, but we aren't that particularly close, so why are you here at the school?"
Vlad: "nothing, I was thinking of enrolling here, I kind of like the town"
Caroline: "oh, that's nice, I would have liked to join you, but I have to go with my friends here, see you later?"
Vlad: "sure"
Caroline happily waved at Vlad before going off with Bonnie and Malia to join the rest of their friends.
Bonnie: "you still didn't ask for his number"
Caroline: "shit, I totally forgot again, well there is next time"
Later that day
Matt and Elena were walking together as they talked about what happened last night to his sister.
Matt: "they are keeping her overnight, but she should be able to come home tomorrow"
Elena: "that's good news"
Matt: "yeah"
Elena: "did you get in touch with your mom?"
Matt: "called and left a message, she's in Virginia Beach with her boyfriend, so we'll see how long, it will take her to come rushing home"
Elena: "Vicki's lucky that she's okay"
Matt: "I know and now there's talk of some missing campers"
Curious, Elena asked Matt what might have attacked his sister as she keeps getting news of people being attacked by some unknown animal or something.
Matt: "she said it was a vampire"
Elena: "what?"
Matt: "yeah, she wakes up last night, mutters 'Vampire' and pass out"
Elena: "okay, that's weird"
Matt: "think she was drunk"
Matt said before looking around and there he saw Henrik, the new popular kid, sitting by himself.
"So what's up with you and the new guy"
Elena saw Henrik sitting all b himself immersed in the book he was reading.
Elena: "Matt, the last thing I wanna do is hurt you"
Matt: "you know, I'm actually gonna go back to the hospital. I wanna be there when Vicki wakes up, get the real story about last night"
Elena: "okay"
Matt left Elena as he made his way to the hospital while Elena wanted to go meet Henrik but found out he was gone.
Elena: "how does he do that?"
Elena said as Henrik appears and disappears whenever she wasn't paying attention. Elena decided to join the girls for the meantime.
Bonnie: "I was talking to grams, she said the comet is a sign of impending doom, last time it passed over Mystic Falls, there was lots of death, so much blood and carnage. It created a bed of paranormal activity"
Malia: "from what you are saying, I must say, your grams is a bit crazy, no offence but, that's the truth"
Bonnie: "none taken, I mean, saying we are from a line of witches, that's going to far"
Caroline: "that's not what we should be talking about right now, we should be talking about Elena and Henrik"
Caroline, who did not want to continue with all these witchy stuffs Bonnie always talks about said.
Malia: "there's no need for that, she is here"
Bonnie and Caroline turned to see Elena walking towards them.
Caroline: "so where is Henrik? why are you alone? Did something happen?"
Malia: "you ask a lot of questions all at once, you should give her a breather"
Elena: "I'm fine, it's just that, Henrik just disappeared and I can't seem to find him anymore"
Caroline: "you can do that later, so, how far have you gone with Henrik? Are you in the kissing phase? Tell me"
Bonnie: "Caroline, that's going to far"
Elena smiled as she sat down as Malia poured her a drink.
Elena: "thanks"
Caroline: "seeing as there is no answer from you, that means nothing had happened, which means your relationship hasn't progressed. Sigh, what's with the blockage, jump on him, it's simple, boy likes girl, girl likes boy, Sex"
Elena listen to what Caroline was saying and decided to confront Henrik and open up to him.
Seeing Elena arranging her stuffs back and beginning to get up, Bonnie asks her where she was going.
Elena: "Caroline is right, it is easy, if I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it, instead of doing what I started the day saying I was gonna do. Malia, let's go"
Malia: "go where, I don't have any plans with you"
Elena: "your home, you dumbass"
Malia: "have we gotten that close to be calling each other names"
Malia asked which made the others smile. sighing Malia stood up and She and Elena went to the Mikaelson home.
A few minutes later
Malia: "home sweet home"
Malia said as they finally arrived at the compound.
Elena: "wow, it's huge"
Malia: "well, technically, we are a large family, so that's why its large, come on, let's go in"
Elena nodded as she followed Malia inside and when she entered inside, what she saw amazed her. She saw the entire Family members of the Mikaelson or what she thought to be.
Elijah: "Malia, you didn't tell us you have a guest, who is your friend?"
Elijah asked as he poured himself, Viktor and Finn a glass of wine.
Viktor: "I know, you are Elena Gilbert, right?"
Elena: "yes sir, I am"
Viktor: "great, I've heard a lot about you from Henrik and Malia here. I have to thank you for being friends with the both of them, especially Malia, she tends to be a bit dramatic at times"
Elena: "no problem sir, they are lovely people themselves"
Finn: "I'm Finn, the father of Henrik and Malia, this is my older sister, Freya and my two younger brothers, Elijah and Viktor whom I believe you've already met, that's Qetsiyah, his wife"
Finn, who now plays the role of father to both Henrik and Malia introduced the rest of the family to Elena.
Elena: "wow, where is your wife, I bet she would be lovely as she was the one who gave birth to Henrik and Malia"
Malia: "she is dead, she died during child birth"
Qetsiyah who was drinking coffee immediately threw it out when she heard what Malia said.
Qetsiyah: "I'm sorry, I must have choked on something, Malia, why don't you join me to prepare something for your friend?"
Malia: "umm, she is fine, you are fine, right?"
Elena: "yes, I'm fine, I don't need anything, actually, I came looking for Henrik, isn't he home, yet?"
Henrik: "I'm here, Elena, I didn't expect to see you here, what brings you to my home?"
Freya: "that can wait, Elena, why don't you stay for dinner. You can go view the comet from here"
Finn: "that would be really great, don't refuse, it will be a way to get to know you better"
Elena seeing how all the family members were looking at her finally relent and decided to stay with them.
Qetsiyah: "that's great, Malia, with me"
Qetsiyah immediately grapped the unsuspecting Malia as she made her way to the kitchen while Malia was looking at her father with teary eyes.
