Chapter 4: Chapter 4: Demonic Energy and Sensing
While this was going our MC is in his dream land.
When I woke up next day, I did not find anything different with mother. Other than my father present everything was the same.
After my breakfast (Milk and nutrients solution), I started to ponder what to do next. As I was a doctor in my previous life, I very well know that I should not work out before the age of 7. Other than some stretches and light exercise I should not do anything heavy.
But I can work on my senses and demonic energy.
So, I started doing that. I first started to feel my demonic energy. And what I found out was I have quite a lot. But I'm unable to figure out how much in the scale I have.
As per the Anime and the Novel, the division goes like...
Low class
Mid class
High class
Ultimate
Satan/God
Super
Concept
Each stage has a sub-division of low, mid and high Level. And if we go by either Novel or Anime, my mother should be an ultimate class devil. But I'm not sure if it is low, mid or high. So, I should start with sensing the reserve of others.
With that plan in mind, I started to feel the surrounding energy. I started concentrating and tried to empty my mind. Concentrated deeply in sensing the surrounding energy. I concentrated

Ahhhh... F**k!!! It is not working.
Guess I have to train my control over my demonic energy every day and try to sense the surrounding energy. Just like that I start doing that. Day by day I started to move my demonic energy, trying get it to move it as easy as breathing. I alternated between control and sensing.
Just like that two-month passed. During that time, my father went back Clan to do his duties as clan head. But he started visiting every weekend. As an adult soul in baby's body, I pretty much guessed what is happening. Not that I'm complaining. They are husband and wife and they are welcome to do whatever they want.
From all the training by the end of 6th month after my birthday, I was able to move my demonic energy however I wanted within my body. But I still need lot more control but you can get the gist of it.
By the time I completed my control, I was able to sense my surrounding energy. It was like a lock was place in my body. Once I had the preliminary control over my energy reserves, I will be able to unlock the lock and sense the surrounding energy.
I was overjoyed by the discovery. So, in order to sense better I have to get better control over my reserves. So, from that day forth I started doing that.
Four months passed by....
On that day, brother came for a visit along with my sister-in-law. He comes here occasionally. But this time, I was able to speak more fluently. So, I asked my brother "Nii-Nii, what is this black thing that is inside me and surrounding you and everyone?".
Yes, I was able to subtlety sense the Demonic energy around everyone. During the last 10 months not only mother taught me how to speak, she also started to teach me how to read and write. I'm still not allowed inside the library. And I was able to pick up everything pretty fast. This brought a look of pride with my mother.
My brother was caught off guard, but manage to gather himself and asked, "Rak-chan, when were you able to see the black thing?"
I replied, "From a month ago, Nii-nii!!" with a big smile. Gotta act the kid part. I will be able slowly change the way I act as I grow up. Will start from the age of 3, they will not be able to tell the difference after 15. By then I will have cemented my personality.
My mother, who was listening to our conversation, nearby suddenly asked, "Rak-chan, why didn't you tell me before that you were able to see things?"
I acted dumb and said, "Huh, I did not see things, I was, I was (thinking for a better word) hn!! Feel that. It was kind of dark so I thought it was black!".
They collectively heave a sigh of relief and I was able to see some kind of strange look in my brother's face... Disappointed? But it quickly went away like it was all an illusion. So, I just left it at that and stated to ask my brother again "So, what is that?"
My brother went into thinking for a moment and answered, "It is called demonic Energy. You will not understand completely now but it will help you do magic in future when you are properly trained. Once you are 4, we will start to teach you how to control it."
Like a good boy, I nodded and skipped to the dining table for some snacks. But in my mind 'Finally!! I was able to gauge were my reserves stand!!!'. After standing near Mother, brother and sister-in-law, I was able to discern; Brother has Super devil class, Grayfia has Mid Satan Class and Mother has Peak Ultimate class reserves. But the density of each of them varies.
So, with their reserves in reference, I was able to Gauge my reserves somewhere near High Ultimate class as my reserves are somewhat lower than my mothers. Yes!!! I'm an Ultimate class being!!!!
Sadly, I still need years of training and control to reach that stage. But I did not get discouraged. If there is no hard work, then there is no satisfaction in obtaining that much power.
So, I started to plan my training regime.
1) Demonic power control.
2) Sensory skills.
3) Enrich every part of my body with Demonic energy.
4) Condense my demonic energy to make it denser.
5) Continue stretching and light exercise for better foundation
6) Start heavy exercise by the time I turn 7(after checking my growth)
After planning my training regime, I started to work on my daily training.
I started with moving my demonic energy to every part of my body. I suddenly felt tearing pain throughout my body. I stopped it immediately with cold sweat behind my back due to the pain. I looked around to see anyone noticed me, but everyone was busy. I heaved a sigh of relief and started to think what I did wrong.
Then it clicked. I should not have used a large amount from the start. I should start from introducing small amount and let my body get used to it. And I started doing that. There was small tingling sensation but I was able to manage it.
I started increasing bit by bit then when it started to hurt, I stopped and planned to maintain that amount till I feel comfortable. But I did not realize it now that it was a blessing and a curse.
Then I started to notice a difference in my sensory organs. My hearing, sight and smell got enhanced. When I stopped channeling my demonic energy everything went back to normal, but I can still feel the permanent enhancement. It is not much but it is there. I concluded that I'm moving in the right direction. So, I started to channel my demonic energy again to my entire body with the required amount.
3rd POV
While Rahakki was doing his experiment with demonic energy, the adults are having a different conversation.
"He was able to feel the demonic energy." Sirzechs stated. It was a good thing but if he has no bloodline, it is useless.
"Yes, but we have not yet taught him anything about demonic energy", Vanelena stated with a confused expression.
They are unable to identify the why this was happening.
"Maybe he acted on his instincts and accessed his reserves?", Grayfia question with an unsure tone.
They pondered over it. But suddenly Vanelena asked, "Zechs, did you try to feel his demonic reserves?" to which Sirzechs nodded. "Did you feel the corrosive energy?" She asked again. But he paused and started to recall any feeling. Then he widened his eyes and stated, "No, I only sensed normal demonic energy!"
As if she figured it out, "I think his body is acting on it's self-defence mechanism and started to repair the damage done by the corrosive energy. That was why he was able to sense the demonic energy. It might be a byproduct of his repair. Remember I told you he learned everything faster that a normal devil. It might have enhanced his body and once the repair is done maybe it will go back to normal." Vanelena theorized.
"May be that was by he was able to talk and walk this early, despite being weak for 8 months!", Grayfia exclaimed.
"Maybe there is a chance for him to awaken his bloodline after his body repairs itself!", Sirzechs exclaimed in enthusiasm. He felt sorry for his little brother. But if he is able to awaken his bloodline, he will be able to train his brother without any worries.
But Vanelena put a stopped to him saying, "Don't jump to conclusion, it was only my assumption. We have to check with Ajuka to be sure."
This doused down his enthusiasm but he still hoped that to be the case.
They concluded once Ajuka is free from his research, they will take Rahakki to his for inspection. Sirzechs also volunteered to ask Ajuka to first see Rahakki before moving for any other work. Once they discussed about this, they started to move to talking about some mundane things. But everyone slightly hopeful that Vanelena's conjecture is right.
