Chapter 33: Chapter 33: Thoughts of Other Pantheons.
After the meeting most of the Pantheons did not stay back to enjoy. Their mood for enjoying went away with the meeting. All the secrets that were out in the open made every one rethink about their security and also reevaluate the threat of the new pantheon.
The ones stayed back were Amaterasu, Yasaka, Micheal, Gabreial who came after the meeting, Benemune who came with Azazel and Indra. Some of them stayed back to enjoy and some stayed back for information gathering.
In Asgard.
As soon as Odin came back, he went straight to Odin's Hall. He summoned all the Gods. In few minutes the hall was filled with the gods. Loki came in with a bad look on his face. As soon as he came in, he shouted, "Are you back after licking their shoes brother? Are They satisfied with your service?" He said mockingly.
Odin did not show any reaction. He was looking at everyone expressionlessly. Loki, who came in with great momentum, was feeling something bad is going happen. As he was thinking, his magic and divinity got sealed. Víðarr, who was standing next to Odin, came near Loki and took away all the weapons. Then he summoned Hel, Fenrir and Jörmungandr.
Loki's kids became enraged at the sight of their father. But they fell down powerlessly after Odin used some runic magic. Odin them came near Fenrir and used a spell. Fenrir felt something was being pulled out of his body. After few minutes a divinity crystal came out. Loki's face went pale. He was sure he will not go out alive today.
All present felt the power from the divinity crystal and felt it was familiar. Some like Víðarr, Baldr and Vali were sure that it was their mother's divinity. They connected the dots and was glaring at the Loki with a murderous look.
Odin came to his throne and released the crystal. It flew into the chamber and started to combine with Frigga's remaining divinity that was left in Asgard. It will take a century or 2 for Frigga to come back alive.
Odin then said to all the gods in the throne, "Loki and his children will be placed on Helheim till Frigga comes back. And make preparations to send the Chaos Originals some gifts. Send the Eternal flame of Sutar to them. It will match with their home 'Eternity'. Also make arrangement for training of soldiers. What we are facing is not some other Pantheon. We are facing Ancient Monsters who roamed the earth before even gods where born."
In the Head Quarters of Grigori.
Azazel was sitting in the conference table with a solemn look. Joining him were Shemhazai, Baraquiel and Kokabiel. Azazel started, "What I faced they was more powerful that we can ever Imagine. I only felt that power when I faced Dragon god Of Infinity. But that was milder compared to what I felt in there."
All went alert and paid rapid attention to what Azazel was saying. They all know how powerful Azazel is and they know that they are still considered a pantheon was because of all of the present.
Kokabiel then said, "Are you telling me that the pantheon that just cropped up is powerful enough to face us as an equal?"
Azazel shook his head in denial which somewhat eased their worries but what he said next made them very vigilant, "No, no! What I am saying is if we went to war with them, we will be annihilated with little to no one remaining. They will completely eliminate us all with little to no effort."
Shemhazai asked in a worried tone, "Aren't you exaggerating a little bit? I mean come on; they just came into existence just now. They are not even a century old."
Azazel gave a wry smile and said, "I wish if that was the case. I really wish that. But they are more powerful than we ever hoped for. After facing such power, I'm inclined to believe all the folklore about their pantheon."
With the Sumerian Gods
After An returned with Enil and Enki, he gathered all the gods for a discussion. Once they all came in Inanna/Ishtar said in a bored tone, "What is it brother that you had to meet us immediately. I just got a new toy and I want to play."
Ereshkigal said in an annoyed tone, "Quiet down slut. It is a meeting not a brothel. Wear something appropriate for such occasions. You are a disgrace."
Inanna smiled at that and wanted to retort, but Enil said in a serious tone, "Enough both of you, this is an important matter. Save your arguments for later."
All the gods became intrigued as Enil never spoke seriously. He is more like Inanna who speaks frivolously. So, they paid attention to what was that they all needed to be present to discuss.
An, who felt all were paying attention, nodded to Anu to cast a silencing spell, he then said in a grave tone, "I felt mother's power again." This got a confused look from all but slowly the confused look turned into a horrified one. Marduk asked in a shaky voice, "Brother are you sure it is mother's power, I mean it's been a long time and you might be mistaken."
An just looked at him with a deadpan face and said, "Are you saying that I might've forgotten the power of someone who had enough power to kill us all? Enough to just destroy the earth but only did not because it was her husband's body?"
This made all the gods present shake in their shoes. Ereshkigal said in a worry-free tone, "It is not like we didn't know what we are getting into. If we are prepared to kill, we should be prepared to be killed. As far I can see they have not done anything. This comes to show that they do not know of what happened or they know but they only let us be in respect of Mother. So, brother can you be sure if it was mother who is present there?"
An just scanned the crowd and said, "What Ereshkigal said was right. They did not mention what happened but they did warn us about the frivolous activities of Enil, Inanna and few others. This goes to tell that they are not after us but they still know about us. And to answer your question Ereshkigal, I did not feel the same power but similar but more potent. It might be her family or the clan she belonged to."
Ereshkigal nodded her head and sat down and closed her eyes. Inanna then asked, "If it is that brother, can we not tell them that we are a part of them and let them join us. Maybe I can seduce their leader and we can become more powerful?"
Nergal then said in a mocking tone, "What are you going to say to them, 'Hey there we are the sons and daughters of one of daughters of your clan. We killed her because she tried to kill us for our atrocities. So, can you let the bygones be bygone and come join us?' Do you expect that would work? Not to mention, we don't know how our mother is related to them. Based on the relation it might be indifference or annihilation."
An just listened to all of them and he stated, "There are few trades that we managed to secure. We are allowed to visit but they will be constant monitoring based on the person visiting. For those with unscrupulous behaviors there will be heavy monitoring." He then eyed Enil, Inanna and few other gods.
Then he continued, "And let me warn you that there are 7 people who were equal to my power and 2 above me and equal to mother. So, do be on your best behavior. Especially you Inanna. I will not come to save you if you get into trouble this time. Whomever tried to save you will be on their own. I will not fight such powers again as they do not have any familial love which we can use against them just like we used on mother. Am I clear?"
Inanna was angered for being singled out but she can see that An was being serious. So, she nodded her head in acceptance and stormed out of the hall in anger. Slowly all the gods left leaving An alone. The An asked to no one in a worried tone, "Will they come for revenge?"
In Olympia.
After being sent out by Hera, Zeus was fuming with rage. Ares went to the arena for venting out. All the Olympian gods were confused as to what happened. They were trying not come in range of Zeus and Ares until they calmed down.
Suddenly, Poseidon and Hera arrived. They arrived with Someone form the Origins. Zeus and Ares immediately detected the additional member. When the came to see who it was, it was Nina. Ares immediately got smug and said, "So, have they sent you as consolation. I told you to accompany me. It would not be this disgraceful if you would have come in without forcing." And stretched his hand to hold her.
No one was sure what happened, but they can see Ares flying out like a shot cannon. Then they heard Nina speaking to Hera, "I can see how well you have raised your kids. Job well done!" She said in a Mocking tone. Once can see that Hera, Queen of gods, bowing her head down in shame.
The came the Roar from Ares and Zeus. Ares shouted, "Bitch, I will let you know your place once I finished with you!" Zeus shouted, "Don't think that you can do as you please in here, you whore!"
Nina was not perturbed but turned to ask Hera and Poseidon and asked, "I take it that you are declaring war. If that's the case, I'll let my brother know. He is fine either way but I think the soldiers will get to move the muscles again atleast." She then prepared to contact Pyran.
Hera immediately said, "Please wait a moment Ms. Nina, I will sort this out and will let you know a satisfying answer." She then eyed Poseidon. To which Nina replied, "Very well then, I will return back now and will wait for your news. Anyway, it is nice meeting you." Then teleported away.
Hera then turned to Ares and said, "I will give you 1 minute to calm yourselves. If not, you are welcome to go to war with them. Just know that I will banish you from Olympia in the name Queen of gods." Hera finished and went to her throne, leaving behind Ares who was dumbfounded. He the calmed down in seconds. He knows she is serious. He only acted that way because he had Olympia watching his back.
Poseidon went near Zeus and Hades and said, "Their leader is far stronger than Father and his siblings. They will be like Children when placed near the leader of Chaos originals. And they have two such beings." This made Zeus come down from his maddened state. He immediately went pale because he is not as strong as when he faced his father and his siblings.
Poseidon then turned to Hades and said, "Chaos Original asked me to send you a message. 'Don't touch our people again. Next time there will be no warning. We will come there and finish the Job.' And brother I will not help you with anything. I will let them do what they would do if you crossed their line. They are powerful enough for me to do so." Hades now know that Poseidon was serious. Zeus might leave him to his own but Poseidon always helps them both. So, if Poseidon says that he will let him handle his mess then he faced a severe adversary. Hades just nodded but he planned otherwise and lay low and strike when everything cools down.
Hera then came near Zeus and said in a Mocking tone, "What? Now that what you desired has been rejected you blow your steam here? If you have the guts go to the Chaos Originals and ask."
Zeus was fuming and said in a cold tone, "Don't test my patience Hera. Do not think that I will not do anything to you."
Poseidon who got tired of all the Drama shouted, "That's enough, I will say this once. You all better get that in your head. Do not piss of the Chaos Originals. We will give you up voluntarily if they came for you. Prepare the gifts from treasury to send it to Eternity for the disrespect caused by Zeus and Ares as an apology." Then he turned and walked away. Hera laughed mockingly and walked away too. All the gods turned to Zeus.
Zeus was fuming with anger. But he knows that his brother will not lie when it comes to the power of their father and his siblings. After few minutes he just nodded his head. Ares wanted to argue but was met with his father's icy cold eyes. Ares know if he says something wrong, he will be beaten black and blue. So, he just kept quiet.
In Mount Kailash.
Shiva is sitting down, meditating. Suddenly his third eye opened. His power went berserk for a moment and went back to a serene state. Parvathi who felt the power spike came in to check, "What happened husband?" She asked in a worried tone.
Shiva, who had a complicated face said. "The future has changed, it seemed so clear a moment ago now it is all jumbled. There are so many possibilities and I am not sure what was being followed now. It was like it split into multiple rivers and still getting separated at an alarming rate."
In Underworld.
Sirzechs, Serafall, Ajuka and Falbium were sitting in the Sirzechs's office. Grayfia was standing behind Sirzechs. The meeting room was in solemn mood. Serafall started, "We need to take this pantheon seriously."
Serzechs continued her statement, "Yes, they are powerful enough to give any major Pantheon a run for the money."
Serafall then said, "And the only way to win against them is by joining the Heaven and the Girgori. That too will be a Pyrrhic victory. If the leaders didn't join them that is. If they are included, we will be wiped out even if all three combined."
Ajuka asked, "It seems you have managed to acquire a good trades and visitation rights, right?"
Serafall sighed and said, "Yes, the trades are good and it is manageable. But the visitation was very restricted. I concluded that they have been gathering intel during their so called seclusion."
Falbium then said, "It is not like we are a trustworthy bunch. I don't see any problem in them doing as such. So, what is this meeting about."
Serafall then said in vexation, "But we are trying to change!!" Falbium looked at her with a deadpan expression and said, "So far with all the issues that the devils are raising, I doubt any faction will believe that." To which Serafall banged her head on the desk.
Sirzechs said in a confused tone, "But their hostility towards us seems to be more than what it should be. And I can't shake the feeling that I have met with the other retainer before. His gaze seems like he recognized me in more personal level."
Ajuka then said, "Regardless of what happened, we should be careful and show our sincerity in action to change our status. Let's just leave it at that." To which all present nodded even if they are unsure.
