Chapter 6: Winterfell 1

3rd Person P.O.V.—
In the epic tale of our valiant samurai, Miyamoto Musashi, the unfolding events took a dramatic turn. Having recently thwarted a gang of merciless bandits and rescued Lord Stark and his loyal master-at-arms, Aryon, our protagonist found himself astride Aryon's horse as they ventured deeper into the enigmatic heart of the Wolfswood. The rustling of leaves and the echo of hooves provided the only company in this sylvan sanctuary.
After a tense and riding twenty minutes, they emerged from the dense forest, greeted by the breathtaking vista of the outskirts of Wintertown. There, standing as a sentinel to time itself, was the majestic edifice of the Stark ancestral stronghold – Winterfell. Its grandeur far exceeded even the most vivid portrayals in tales and legends. Miyamoto couldn't help but voice his awe, prompting Lord Stark to glance back with a wry smile, his words echoing with paternal wisdom, "You'll have all the time in the world to admire this view later, my friend. But now, let us hasten Aryon to the maester's care."
Agreeing with a nod, Miyamoto followed the nobleman through the age-old gates of Winterfell. As they approached the castle, a curious sight met their eyes – a young boy, no older than ten, stood amidst a small gathering of people. He took a few hesitant steps toward them but stopped short when he saw Miyamoto. Lord Stark paid little heed to the boy, focusing instead on the attendants accompanying him.
Intrigued, Miyamoto's thoughts raced as he recognized the lad before him. 'Is that Rickerd Stark? The future father of Eddard Stark and the grandfather of the legendary "Jon Snow"?' he pondered silently, noting the vast chasm between the boy's present and the legends he would someday inspire.
"Quickly take Aryon to maester Walys." Lord Stark instructed the people behind the boy, as he pointed at Aryon tied behind me.
"Yes, M'lord!" Even though they were surprised, they swiftly followed the order given to them.
Miyamoto just stood there as he didn't know what to do. He looked at lord Stark who was staring at the boy. "What are you doing here, Rickerd?" He asked him.
The castle's great courtyard beckoned, and the boy could no longer contain his curiosity. His youthful voice broke the silence, inquiring of his father, "You are back so soon, father? I was training with my sword." His gaze then drifted to Aryon, worries replacing his youthful exuberance as he noticed the wounds on him while he was being taken to the Maester.
[A/N: Hello there, Author here. I just didn't know how Rickerd should address Aryon here. As he's the master-at-arms and also most likely his teacher. So tell me in the comments if you have any ideas. Chao~]
Lord Stark's visage darkened, his ire unmistakable. "We fell victim to treacherous bandits, son, they had made a den within the very heart of the Wolfswood. This here is Miyamoto Musashi," he introduced, with a hint of self-consciousness, "Forgive me, I'm not quite adept at pronouncing his name."
Miyamoto offered a gracious nod and an amused chuckle. "It's quite alright, Lord Stark. The name is Miyamoto Musashi."
Lord Stark, relieved at his companion's understanding, continued the introduction, "Ah, yes, Miyamoto."
The inquisitive boy, now known as Rickerd, couldn't contain his curiosity any longer. "But why is he here with you?" he inquired, his youthful enthusiasm reignited by the enigmatic presence of the strange warrior.
"He saved us when he were ambushed by the bandits. Without him, I dare say we might not have survived today." Lord stark said as he praised Miyamoto, "He is very skilled at swordplay."
"You must have been tired from the journey, please go rest. We will talk tomorrow after supper." He said as he motioned at a survent to show Miyamoto the way.
He followed the survent, as he was led to the guest area in the keep.
