Chapter 7: ORB

[Xin qin POV]
*Boom!!*
"Whew,I guess that is the last one" I said as I stared at the scene in front of me.
The floor was littered with zombies,dead ones at most.
Wait,there is something among this zombies,or shall I say somethings.
There were three in numbers two were round balls,the other I couldn't identify.
One of the balls though was silver In colur the other one was white in colour only a small difference.
"Hey, system what's that?"I asked my only manual in this apocalypse.
*Host,the round balls are called orb, while the other item is called skill scroll*
"So the unknown item is a scroll?"I said as I got closer to it.
I figured out it was true,the item was a scroll(white in colour like one of the orb),which was used in the medivial time.
"Hey, are this thing dangerous?"I asked the system,as I don't want to die trying to touch a scroll or orb.don't forget I still have Isabelle to save.
*Host,I can only give you a brief explanation*
Hearing the system response I could only sigh in my heart.
"Go,on"I urged the system.
*Host,the orb is a celestial storage which contains lot of weapons,food items,and other essential accessories which putting it some of your mana gives you the item that is better than,the current human accessories*
Hearing the system voice,I could only think of one thing.
'This orb is to great' just imagine it giving you a great accessories which will help you in a battle.but I couldn't think further as the system interrupted my thoughts.
*The orb is divided into lot of classes,but system can only mention three*
"Go on"I knew the information was confidential so I didn't urge the system.
*The white orb,(ordinary grade),the weakest orb having only ordinary weapons or accessories.
The silver orb(Mana grade1),An orb which specialize in nuturing Mana and giving it to an item.
The yellow orb(Mana grade2),An orb which specialize in nuturing mana to boost attributes of the user temporarily.
Other orb are locked*
My mouth was left agaped,I met a silver accessories which use mana.
Even though it was 1(one),I still did not care.
"Okay system what about the scroll?"I asked the system.
*Scrolls are also called ability givers,as it contains, skills which can be learnt by the user*
"Oh",such a strong item I could already feel my hand getting itchy to find out what is in the orbit and scroll.
"Hey, system you didn't talk about the classes of scrolls"I said wondering why the system didn't mention the classes of the scroll
*Classes of scrolls.
Normal scroll,is a scroll used to gain skills.
( It Is common)
Path scroll,is a scroll used to decide which path to follow.
(it is slightly common and rare).
Innate scroll,is a scroll used to gain class skills.
(It is rare)*
"Hey, system are this all the classes"I asked the system as I recognized that unlike orbit which had 'other orbits are locked',scroll didn't.
*Host,this are all the scrolls for now,till the earth evolves to the second stage*
"Oh"
"Wait!, evolves!?"I screamed as I understood what the system mean.
*Yes,host earth will evolve, bringing with it new foes and allies*
Feeling bitter already,I shake my head putting my new information at the back of my head.
As I advanced towards the items,I first touched the white orb to giving it mana.
It suddenly glowed with a bright white colour before busting in many white particles.
I closed my eyes avoiding the bright light,as I opened my eyes I saw a steel sword with a white handle.
"Wow,a weapon!",I couldn't help but shout with joy as I stared at the sword.
'now I would reduce the time I use holy flames',I thought, cause after using holy flames to fight the zombies I felt a great headache.
The next item I touched was the silver orb,it glowed with a bright silver colour,then it burst with silver particles falling,this time it was not bright like the white orb so I could keep my eyes open.
"A ring?",I said as i stared at the ring on the floor,it was purple in colour, even the pendenant was purple.
I did not asked the system what it was,cause of the fear of not getting an answer.
I picked up the sword and the ring,then moved towards the scroll.
Immediately I touched the scroll it stopped glowing and fell on the floor.
'cool'
I bent down and picked up the scroll.
I tried the same method as the orb by giving it some mana,as I did not see any writings in the scroll.
It glowed,but instead of busting to many particles like the orb,it just flew to my body surrounding me.
*Bing!*
*Unknown energy entering host body*
*energy successfully entered host body*
*Host has gain a new skill holy eyes(innate)*
After hearing the notifications of the system,a great surge of knowledge entered my head.
It felt so great.
"Wow,this skill is to great'!"I shout in joy as I figured out the ability of the holy eyes.
I look at the sword and thought.
'Holy eyes'

*Info:a normal sword, made by a low ranked blacksmith in the medivial time*

*Info:A magic enhanced accessories used to store items*
"Wow,this ring was amazing!",I could not help but shout with joy.
"Wait!" I immediately focused my Mana flow towards the ring.
*Swoosh!*
The ring glowed with a purple colour.
*Host,focus in the sword!*
After hearing the system I immediately put my focus at the ring.
*Swoosh!*
The blade immediately moved towards the ring disappearing away from my hand.
"Wow-"
*Sniff!* *Sniff!*
