After almost two years In the laboratory, Ellery
discovered something while doing her routine tests. She heard from the scientists that she could use magic now, but doesn't know how to use it, so she must learn it from now.
There are different kind of people in the Laboratorium, but the scientists mostly human. Meanwhile the experiment are mostly half animal. The laboratorium have a lot of technology, with both magic and machine.
After knowing she have magic now, she tries to use it when there's no one around because all room have magic detector. If she get caught, she may get crystal inside her body and she doesn't want that to be happen.
If the experiment goes wrong, the specimen usually becomes a monster. There's the harmful and the not harmful one, but most the monsters are dangerous. All of the monsters were thrown away to one place, to a forest.
She already had friends with the other specimens when she got paired together with the person. She had three friends, Their names are Rash, Beru, and Chery. Chery is the same age as her, Beru a year older and Rash two years older.
Rash and Beru were taken out by the leader a week ago and today, she saw Chery being taken away by the scientists.
And then she ask a scientists
"Hey sir, is that Chery- i mean 101 over there?"
"why are you asking that useless question? oh, are you her 'friend'? well you see that she's going to the forest, meaning you wont be able to meet her ever again, it's dissapointing that she couldn't hold any longer right?"
He says that sarcastically. She feels sad and angry at him at the same time, but there's nothing she can do. So she answered.
"uhm, y-yeah, yeah... (it's not like i could do anything anyway)"
Time passed, and day after day she still couldn't use her magic. And she going to give up and on her life, she doesn't have any purpose on her life anymore. She is starting to have a desire for this to end quickly, even if it means she may die.
When she was about to sleep, she imagined a place where she could be free. And then slowly a portal appeared beneath her, but she made a mistake by imagining a forest with monsters.
She fell through the portal and was confused about what had just happened and where she was now. When she looked behind her, she saw two people guarding the laboratory. The guard noticed that she was a specimen, but she had escaped, so they ran to catch her.
The guards were running closer to her, so she ran to a forest. After running for a long time, she noticed that the guards were no longer trying to catch her again.
"huh? were are they? why aren't they catching me anymore?"
She has a feeling that she ran to a bad place because she felt a different temperature between outside and inside the forest. And then she remembered something.
"oh my, is this the forest that they say? Morest, the forest of monsters?! Damn it! I went to the wrong place. I didn't know the forest was this close to the laboratory."
After walking for some time, she heard a loud and big voice not too far away. Then she close her ear.
"ugh! what is that!? It sounds like there is a big monster near me."
And then a big and tall monster approached her, and she was so scared that she couldn't move her legs. It had many sharp teeth and looked like it could swallow her in a second.
"I'm dead."
She's trying to snap out of it and move her leg to run as fast as possible. Luckily, that thing is not so fast, but she still needs to escape.
"Ugh! Why the hell did they make this monster?! Are they insane?!?!"
She's still trying to escape from it, but that thing doesn't give up trying to catch her, and she's running out of energy.
"How much energy does this thing have?! Is it not tired yet?!"
She is looking around and thinking of running between the trees so it cannot get through because they are too big.
And then she run between trees to slowing it down.
"I hope it slow that monster down so i could escaped"
But because the monster was strong, the trees were destroyed, and now she felt more scared than before, knowing she would never beat it or maybe escape from it.
"ha.. ha.. now I really am dead"
She had never run that much before, she ran too much and now her stamina has run out. She cannot run anymore, both of her hands are shaking and her legs are numb, she's breathing heavily, and her vision is blurry.
She couldn't maintain her awareness any longer, and as a result, she collapsed and fainted on the ground. When she was almost eaten by the monster, someone came and took her in their arms.
"Oh my, is she a specimen? How did she escape from the laboratory and end up here, getting chased by a monster? I had better take her to my house."
Then they start to use a spell to hide the appearance and run to their house.
"Alright, were home, now it's time gor me to heal you, oh gosh! you have so many wounds and bruises around your body"
Then he heal wounds and bruises on her body and wait for her to wake up.
