Chapter 65: summoning

Asher and Ella sat in a hall, oddly the people coming for summoning were a bit more than two hundred. In the hall were different races, but only a few stood out like the elves because of their pointy ears.

"I really thought they would be more," Ella said.

"There are multiple magic courses in this academy, in fact, I think this is quite large. Asher said.

A teacher walked into the hall, he was a middle-aged man with black hair and a well-trimmed beard. He had pointed ears, probably an elf.

"Good day to all of you. I guess you are all here to become summoners, but please allow me to ask a question. What did you come here thinking you would get?" He looked around the hall, the students were confused by his question.

"Did you think you would come and just get a summon that would fight for you? That is a stupid thought. I want to inform you that that's not how it works.
