"Why do you continue to try speaking to me?" Julia asked, putting an end to Lynn's blabbering. "We should be quiet while the queen is busy."

"It is not against any rules for us to speak to each other. We should be close to protect each other since we serve the queen. Your time in the palace would be much better if you had some friends. Are you angry that no one spoke up when the queen's maid troubled you?" Lynn asked.

Lynn had her problems at that time to be able to know that Julia was being troubled. Julia shouldn't hate the others too much as they didn't want to risk their jobs by going up against someone backed by a royal.
