Chapter 59: One Beast Down

Planet Strara, Royal Observatory.

The utopian guard breathed a sigh of relief when his son Trent didn't challenge Vincent to become the new leader. He felt his wife tense up and relax as well. Richard glanced at the couple from the Wildlands. The man was big and burly, his beard was long and well-groomed, and his hands were most noticeable. They were big and thick. It seemed like they could crush a tier-three weapon by themselves. 

"Lord Grimm, your son is powerful. He also has a good head on his shoulders if only my son, Takashi, was like yours." Richard snapped his fingers, and a yelp was heard from Ryker. "I understand what you mean." The two men gave a wry smile to each other. 

The King of the Utopia Kingdom looked at the guard. "Which guardsmen troop are you from?" The man stood up and bowed his head as he answered. "My name is Lexington, but most call me Lex, your Majesty. I belong to the Core Guardians." The King laughed and lifted him from his bow.
