Chapter 24: 23. Getting a Lead On Shaun

After that they went on to Diamond City, when they arrived at the city it was already nighttime. So before they went to Nick's office, they went to eat some noodles at Takahashi. When they finish eating the noodles, they go to Nick's office to discuss Shaun's matter and see Ellie who is worried about Nick.
When they arrive at Nick's office, Ellie sees Nick then rushes to him abs hugs him. She is really happy to see that Nick is back, and then she says thank you to Nora and Sico. After some reunion moments for Nick and Ellie, Nick told Nora to take a seat because they would start to discuss her missing son Shaun.
Nick: "So tell me how can your son be missing?."
Nora: "Me, my husband Nate, and my son Shaun were put to sleep in a cryogenic pod, Nate is the one who held Shaun went were put to sleep. Then I don't know what time is it, I suddenly woke up and saw a group of three people who opened my husband's pod in front of me. Then one of them grabbed my son from Nate and Nate didn't want to let Shaun go, then one of them who I think is the leader got his gun out and shot my husband. After that, they put me back in cryo, so I don't know how they got in there and why they stole my son."
Nick: "Hmm… that's how it is, and good question for it. Why did they risk their life to go there? And stole your son? Do you can describe one of them?."
Nora: "Well two people wearing some kind of protection suit so I can not describe them, but the other one I hear a distinctive voice when he speaks and I think has a scar on his face."
Nick: "It can be, do you hear when someone calls his name? Kellogg?."
Nora: "I think so."
Nick: "Ellie what data have we got on Kellog?."
Ellie: "Well it matches has a distinctive, voice a scar on his face and a high reputation for dangerous mercenary work."
Nick: "I think that before he used to live here right? With a 10 year old child."
Ellie: "Yes when he lives here, he has a child with that age. And after that, he suddenly left Diamond City, he lived in a house near the entrance but no one had been there for many years."
Nick: "I see, well what do you think Nora?."
Nora: "That must be Shaun, maybe I was put to sleep again for 10 years and I was recently awakened."
Nick: "Well there is a possibility about that, how about we go there right now? To check if is there any lead we can find to find Kellog."
Nora: "Sure, let's go."
Ellie; "Wait before you guys leave, I just want to let you guys know that the office needs some help or Nick needs some help. So you guys can come to the office and help us with the case that Nick can not do because of his schedule."
Sico: "Sure Ellie, we stop by sometime."
After that, they went out of Nick's office, then went to Kellog's house. When they arrive, Nick tries to open the door but is locked, so he tries to picklock it but he can not picklock it because the lock is unique. So he tells Nora and Sico to try to open it and see if they can, but if they can not open it they have to get the key from the mayor or the mayor's secretary.
Nora is the one who tried first, but to no avail, she can not open it. So she let Sico try it, Sico knew that in the game the lock difficulty is master and he knew that his level was just expert so he could not open it either.
Because the three of them could not open it, they had to go to the mayor's office to see if they could get the key from there. When they arrive at the elevator to the mayor's office, Sico tells Nora and Nick to stay down there and let him go upstairs alone. He told them to let him try to charm the mayor's Secretary to let her give the key to him.
Nora and Nick agree with Sico's suggestion, so they stay downstairs and let Sico do the work. When Sico arrived at the mayor's office, he went to Geneva to talk and tried to charm her to give him the key.
Sico: "Hey there Geneva, how is your day."
Geneva: "Well fine Sico, I didn't expect you to be back here so soon after leaving the Diamond City."
Sico: "Well I back here soon because I was missing you."
Geneva: "Oh stop with your flirt Sico, who knows whether you are serious or not? So what do you need from me?."
Sico: "Well we can see it if you let me take you on a date tomorrow, and can you give me the key to a house near the entrance?."
Geneva: "Why do you need that for? That house is off limits, by the order from the mayor so I can not give the key to you."
Sico: "Oh come on Geneva, please?."
Geneva: "Fine here is the key, but you have to take me on a date tomorrow at the Colonial Taphouse."
Sico: "Great thanks Geneva, omg it's a date then come to the place tomorrow at 7 pm I wait for you there."
Geneva: "Okay Sico, have a pleasant day."
After getting the key from Geneva, Sico goes out from there and goes down using the elevator and tells Nora and Nick that he already has the key. Nora and Nick asked Sico how he got it from Geneva, but Sico just told them it was a secret and urgently told them to go to Kellog's house.
When they arrive at Kellog's house, Sico uses the key to open the door and then they go into the house. When they got inside, they had to find something that could lead them to Kellogg. When they search, Sico suddenly finds a button under the table and pushes it to see what would push open after he pushes the button.
Suddenly the wall on his left opened, and they were shocked to see there was a secret room inside the house. They went inside the room and saw there was a weapon, food, and drink in the room, Sico approached a table and saw there a bottle of Gwinnett Stout beer, a 44 caliber bullet, and a San Francisco Sunlight cigarette.
Sico: "Guys I think this can lead us to Kellog."
Nick: "Hmm… an interesting brand, but that won't lead us to Kellogg though."
Nora: "Well do you have any suggestions guys?."
Sico: "How about we use Dogmeat to track the Kellog scent from it?."
Nick: "I think that's a good idea Sico, dog right now can track scent over a hundred miles out."
Nora: "Then we should get Dogmeat, let's head back to Sanctuary."
Sico: "Well I can not follow you back Nora, I have something to do in Diamond City tomorrow."
Nora: "Oh okay then but after I get back, you should help me find Kellog with Dogmeat."
Sico: "Deal!."
Nick: "Well then I think my job here is finished, but if you guys need some help on the road you can ask me for help."
Nora: "Great thanks Nick, but I think I could use your help to accompany me back to Sanctuary."
Nick: "Okay let's go right now."
Nora: "Okay, see you in three days Sico."
Sico: "See you!."
After they get out of Kellog's house, Nora and Nick say goodbye to Sico and go to the Sanctuary. Sico went to Takahashi to eat some noodles and then headed back to his house in Diamond City released himself from the power armor then went to his room to get some rest. The next day, Sico woke up and went to Piper to see if she had a change of heart and wanted to move to Sanctuary.
When Sico met Piper and talked about it, Piper said that she wanted to because she tired that she and her sister were treated like a piece of garbage. So Sico tells her she can move there with her sister after he finishes his business, after chatting with Piper for a while Sico heads back to his home and waits for nightfall for his date with Geneva.
When it was nighttime, Sico wore his most good looking outfit and headed to the Colonial Taphouse. After he arrived, he found a table for him and Geneva to date and wait for her to come. After waiting for a while, Geneva finally arrived and they started to chat while ordering some food and drink.
After they finish eating, Sico brings Geneva to his house and when they get there they do something that the children can not see. The next day when Sico woke up, he saw Geneva curled up in his arm. So he moved her out of his body gently and headed to the bathroom to get a shower.
Then he went to the kitchen to make some breakfast for himself and Geneva, after he finished cooking he saw Geneva gone out of his room and asked her to eat breakfast. After Geneva finished eating her breakfast, she went to the mayor's office to do her work.
Before she went out, Sico told her that they could do it again for two days if she wanted to and she agreed. Then for the next 5 days, Sico and Geneva do the same routine over and over again. When it's the last day, Sico and Geneva separate themselves and go to do their own work.
After separating from Geneva, Sico went to the Diamond City entrance to wait for Nora there. Why did Sico wait for Nora there? It's because He knew that Nora would arrive with Nick today. After waiting for a while, he saw Nora, Nick, and Dogmeat arrive at the Diamond City entrance.
