Chapter 6: Another Day Of School
The morning sun's gentle rays seeped through the curtains of Jin-Ho's apartment, casting a warm glow that slowly roused him from his slumber.
As he stretched and yawned, he couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement for the day ahead.
Jin-Ho's daily routine had adapted seamlessly to his new life. He began by getting ready for school, making sure he looked his best in his fashionable uniform.
A crisp, white shirt paired with well-fitted trousers and sleek shoes – it was the attire befitting his status as a J High student.
With a final check in the mirror, he confidently stepped out of his apartment, locking the door behind him.
The bustling streets greeted him with a sea of students, all making their way to J High School.
As he walked amidst the crowd, Jin-Ho spotted the unmistakable figure of Daniel Park. A warm smile crossed his face as he approached his classmate and friend.
"Hey, Daniel," Jin-Ho greeted him. "How are you?"
Daniel returned the smile, his eyes reflecting genuine friendliness. "I'm good, Jin-Ho. Ready for another day at school?"
Jin-Ho nodded, the two of them falling into step as they continued their journey to school. Their presence didn't go unnoticed, and the chattering of girls nearby was a testament to their handsome appearances.
Jin-Ho had quickly learned that Daniel was quite the popular figure at J High, and his own good looks didn't go unnoticed either.
Their presence was enough to stir the curiosity and admiration of their female peers.
Finally, they reached their fashion class, where the teacher had yet to arrive. Mira and Zoe were already present, and their greetings were filled with warmth.
"Hey there!" Mira called out with a grin, welcoming Jin-Ho and Daniel.
Zoe chimed in, "You guys are looking good today."
The camaraderie among the group was undeniable. They engaged in light banter, discussing their plans for the day and sharing tidbits of their lives.
After the pleasant conversation, Jin-Ho found a seat and settled in. He couldn't help but notice Zack, who appeared quite irritated.
His frustration seemed to revolve around Mira, even though she wasn't officially his girlfriend – Zack was known for his delusional crush on her.
The arrival of Jay-Hong provided a welcome distraction from the tension.
Jin-Ho and Daniel greeted him warmly, and Jay-Hong joined their conversation with a smile.
"Yo! What's up, Jay?" Daniel said with enthusiasm.
Jay-Hong, however, seemed unusually quiet, his thoughts a mystery to the group. That's when Jiho Park, another classmate, joined the conversation, playfully interrupting their exchange.
"Hey, I think you guys forgot about me," Jiho quipped, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
The morning classes commenced, and Jin-Ho couldn't help but marvel at his newfound understanding of the lessons.
Unlike his past life, where he had struggled to grasp concepts and had resorted to all-nighters to pass exams, he now found himself effortlessly comprehending the material.
As the lessons flowed smoothly, Jin-Ho's thoughts drifted to the revelation that had changed his life – the mysterious system that had granted him extraordinary abilities.
He pondered the idea of leveling up and exploring the full extent of his newfound powers.
The morning classes continued without a hitch, the students attentive and engaged. When the break finally arrived, Jin-Ho decided to invite his friends – Zack, Daniel, Mira, Zoe, Jay, Jiho Park – to join him for lunch.
The group agreed, and they made their way to the cafeteria, chattering as they walked.
Conversations flowed naturally as they discussed a variety of topics, sharing laughs and stories.
However, during the lively chatter, Zack's irritation became increasingly evident. He couldn't help but feel possessive of Mira, even though their relationship was far from official. - Zack is once again delusional
His jealousy towards Daniel, who had unknowingly become the object of Zack's frustration, cast a cloud over the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.
The arrival of lunch break was a welcome opportunity for Jin-Ho to excuse himself and visit the restroom.
He headed to the facilities, but what awaited him there was far from routine.
In the dimly lit restroom, he discovered a scene that instantly stirred his protective instincts. Vin Jin, a known bully from the webtoon he reads, was tormenting Duke, a fellow student.
Jin-Ho had read enough from the webtoon to understand the depths of Vin Jin's cruelty towards Duke.
His heart stirred with a sense of duty, and he couldn't stand by and watch someone suffer.
"Hey, what are you doing? You can't be bullying someone like that. What did that man even do to you?" Jin-Ho asked, his voice filled with irritation.
Vin Jin, however, was not one to back down. "Mind your own business. This is my life, And your the new kid right? You have a strong guts to tell me that, Let me teach you some lesson."
Jin-Ho was infuriated by the response.
As Vin Jin moved to throw a horizontal punch with his left hand aimed at Jin-Ho's face,
He effortlessly dodged the attack, all the while taunting Vin Jin, "Thank you for the new skill."
