Chapter 3: The Toughest Choice

As Wyatt left The "Late Day Off", He was felling something that he never felt before. He was felling something within himself. As he looked over the piece of paper that Tegan gave him with her phone number, He felt like his insides melted with love. He wanted to go back and see Tegan again and again but he knew that he could never go back with her parents being roadblocks. He knew he could find a way to see Tegan's face again. I just need to figure out how that is said Wyatt as he opened the door's to "The Backway Station". He walked in to find his father cleaning the tables to be as clean as possible. Dad said Wyatt. What in Celestial are you doing? Giving the restaurant the most shine possible said Pat. Did you get the notes son? Wyatt looked at the clipboard with the notes he had taken but looked at them with much sadness in his eyes. Pat walked up to Wyatt and took the clipboard from him as he saw the sadness in his eyes. Are you ok Wyatt said Pat. Dad said Wyatt. Are you really sure that we should go through with this? That's the biggest yes i have ever said said Pat. But the owners aren't that bad said Wyatt. Pat froze as he looked towards his son with shock and anger in his eyes. What did you just say said Pat. You know what i said said Wyatt as his voice rose. And I'm gonna stand by it! Pat stood there in anger of his son's words. No son of mine would ever go behind his own kind said Pat. Dad said Wyatt. I don't want any trouble. I saw that there not that bad. Can't two Marson's have different options? So what side are you on said Pat. Mine, Or them? Wyatt was in shock on what his father had become. He then began to remember all the fun times they had in the past and that Pat was a kind hearted person. This Pat was blinded by war to not even accept his own son's option. Time stood still for what seemed like forever as Pat was waiting on his son's answer. What's it going to be said Pat. Why do you even care at all said Wyatt. I SAID CHOOSE A SIDE said Pat as his voice was louder then Wyatt had ever heard before. You know what said Wyatt. Even if i choose the Greybacks, What could you do to your own son? Pat knew that Wyatt was winning this battle. He knew what his choice was and he was not happy with it. Well said Pat. I don't even see you as my son anymore. Wyatt looked at the man he once called dad with fear and sadness in his eyes. He couldn't take it in anymore as he burst into confections. Well I'm sorry if i wanted to support a new business with better sandwiches then here said Wyatt as he ran out of the door's in tears. Pat said nor did nothing to stop the person he once called son and looked at his notes. So they have a castle themed place said Pat. Well me and my wife have a subway themed place. With Wyatt out the way, We will take back what was ours and make our competitor run out of the streets once and for all. If only Wyatt wasn't tricked into supporting them. We could have won like my father did with me. Pat sighed heavily at what he said to Wyatt but started to draw some new designs.
