Here! I'm paying for them! It's my card!' Receptionist took the card and swiped into the machine of the bills, but damn! 'Ma'am! Your card isn't working!' Like wtf Evelyn felt! As if someone took her reputation here! 'What do you mean..? Are you seriously kidding me!?' 'No! Ma'am, your card isn't working, maybe its declined!' 'What do you mean by declines..? You are indeed crazy' She seemed furious, 'What happened Evelyn!? You seem tensed', Sana asked her. 'Fuck my life! Dad seized my card! Now what will I do..? I told them that I'll pay for them..? Now what should I do..?'
'Don't worry! Calm down! I'll pay for you now! But don't forget to pay me later..' 'Do you think I'm gonna steal your money..?' 'No! I didn't mean that! But if mom knows it, she'll not talk to me..' she said being a bit worried. 'You only care about talking..!? Like who talks to there parents nowadays..!?' 'Dad! Dad! Come down!' 'Y r you shouting..!? Because of you no birds sit near our house!' 'How could you sleep so peacefully after ruining my reputation!' 'Reputation! Do you have it!? What did you do to have it..? You can just have fun with my earnings nothing more!' 'What's wrong in that dad!!? Its your money and my money! What's wrong! You're a multimillionaire dad! So what's the matter..?' 'That's my money! Nd I won't let you spend it like water!' She was about to run nd go to her room but the old man stopped her putting his weighted words 'Let me clear one thing, you r going to meet your soon-to-be husband, that's it! I don't want to hear anything!' 'Dad! What r you trying to-'before she could complete her sentence her dad went off.. She felt horrible! How could her dad do like this to her!? How could she spend her whole life with an unknown person... thinking about his words and her thoughts she sighed and went in her room.

Evelyn reached the cafe where her dad wanted her to meet his so called soon-to-be son-in-law! Entering the cafe she asked the manager if there was any table booked on her name, Evelyn Rogers! The manager on agreeing took her to the table and said 'this is yours and Mr. Jack Thompson's table! Have a good time!' The man! Oh god! Was ethereal but, 'Hello! I'm Evelyn Ro-' 'Ik, and I'm older than you so you should show me some respect! What a hello!' What! What did you say..!? Respect! Really? I don't even bow to my dad so who r you!?' 'Are you done talking? Then you can bow and sit!' 'Are you serious! Like seriously you want me to bow and show respect towards you!?' The man, didn't look at her or you say, he didn't even glance but was busy in reading the menu card! He finally looked at her eyes through his glasses when for a sec she paused looking at him, 'Go ahead! I'm watching' Evelyn thought that he looks like a nerd yet charming. She gulped and bowing a little, she forced a smile on her face cause her self respect was hurting.
'Sit down' she rolled her eyes. 'So, what do you wanna order?' 'Ice americano' 'Ok! Hello sir!' What he said sir to a waiter! She thought. The waiter came with a smile. '2 americanos please' 'Yes sir! Thank you! No one ever called me sir before.' She looked at him quite weirdly but she saw his smile showing his dimples! Wow, but then she shrugged off her thoughts.
'If you really want to marry me then be like me... Dad chose you so you should be a great choice like you're rich and handsome too..!' Oh god! Did she give him an compliment! She praised him! 'I'm not rich!' 'W-what do you mean? You're not rich!!?? But still dad chose you for me? Are you kidding me?' 'I don't like kidding' he answered coldly looking deep into her eyes. 'Where are you working at? How much do you earn?' 'Not much! And I work in a book store!' 'WHAT! You work in a book store and want to marry me? Do you know how much money I need every month? Like how much money I spend? How could you afford my Bills?' She laughed, 'See Mr. Just having a good look isn't enough! You should earn more to marry me!' 'You have no other way than marrying me cause it's your dad's final decision. He's my old costumer like he always comes to read books in his free time. We talked, gossiped and had a great bond so you can't run away' 'It's not possible! I won't marry a book shop worker obviously! You can't make me happy' 'Do you think that money is the only thing which can make you happy..?' 'Ofc! Money is imp to live a life happily. If you have money you don't need to look around' 'You're so money centric person and I really don't like you as your 1st impression is so bad on me. But you have to marry me anyways cause your dad wants it' he look that her like his holding a huge power. ' I'm leaving!' She was about to leave when he holds her hand tightly, 'Leave me. What are you doing? How dare you touch me?' ' You ordered an ice Americano and you can't go like this. It'll waste my money and it's really difficult to earn it.' ' you stingy man! I never thought of meeting someone like you!' ' Unfortunately you have to meet me everyday no matter what!!' 'You!!' 'Do you have any Spring on the chair? Why do you keep on standing like this?' She got up and left the cafe, she thought she won't marry someone like him.
