Chapter 7: Persuasion

Lilaac's POV

" Come on , say yes!" I said putting on my best cute look to get Diane to agree to my plan. As you see,I'm having hard time doing that . She's not budging. Yeah of course she isn't, she's probably immune to cuteness. After all she's Diane, the cutest, the most beautiful and charismatic girl in the whole college or even the whole town .

I don't know what to do anymore. I tried to make a deal suggesting I'll do her assignments in return. But her reply was very typical.

" I have so many people willing to that for me without me lifting a finger . They're not even asking for anything in return. Just my goodwill, that's all they want. Why do you think I still do it myself? Or you think you can do it better than me ? Please ! It's my major not yours. " She replied sarcasticly with a sly smile. I didn't know how to reply. She's right. How dumb of me to think she'd need help with that? She's basically the top of her major.

" Just please do this as a favour! I took care of you the whole evening. You'd still be sick and lying in bed if it's not for me. Don't you think you owe me something? " I said in an attempt to make her feel guilty. I kinda felt bad for guiltriping her but it has to come to this . As long as I get to give a Hector a taste of his own medicine, this is nothing.

" I didn't ask you to do that . You are taking advantage of a sick person. I thought you did it because you are a decent human being .What's the point it if you're just gonna use that against me later ? Gosh I didn't know you're that kind of person ." She sneered.

" That's not what I mean . Of course I do it because I'm a good person. What do you mean that kind of person? I just happened to need this favour. I would have do it even it's someone else I have nothing to do with ...." I started babbling as my cheeks get hotter.I felt like I'm being called out . It was supposed to make her feel guilty so why am I the one feeling guilty instead?

"But then again, you really did spend the whole evening nursing me . I guess I do owe you something." She sighed.

" Please I really just want to teach him a lesson. We'll be roomates for a long time . Can't you just help me this once? " I said finally resorting to shameless begging. I know I could just let it go . But the problem with me is I really hate giving up on my plans even if it's an insignificant one .

"Fine , I'll do it since you ask so sincerely . You won't stop pestering me otherwise." She sighed. It's that easy ? I should've done this from the beginning if I knew .

" Thank you . I know you'd come arround. You're not so cruel after all ." I beamed at her.

" Now don't get too excited. I never said I'm doing it for free. In return for this , I want three wishes. You have to grant me three wishes . It could be anything and I'm gonna use it anytime between today and the end of semester." She said.

" Okay great!" I replied. What could she possibly even want from me ? I don't mind running errands a 100 times let alone just 3 times.

" One more thing, you still have to keep your word even if your great plan didn't work out ." She added.

"Don't worry. It'll work . Why won't it work? " I asked puzzled. Is she seriously doubting my foolproof plan ?

" Just promise you won't go back on your word when your plan fail!" She insisted.

" Okay . But you have to follow the plan exactly. You can't ruin it or warn it beforehand." I promised her .

" I'll do exactly what you say ." She smirked.

I don't why but I'm getting a bad feeling out of all this.But I decided to ignore that feeling. She finally agreed to help and whatever the wish she'll make I'm sure it won't be difficult for me .

" So why don't you tell about this awesome plan of yours? Let's hear it . I mean I'm the one who'll implement it . So give me the details." She asked me not so curiously. She's still playing games on her phone .

" Well you said that he's still chasing you right? The next time he did you should accept him and act like you really love him . Then you'll dump him like he's nothing. See it's easy ." I told her the plan.

" Yeah sounds pretty simple." She nodded.

Now I just sit back and watch the drama unfold. I can't wait to see Hector's look .
