Chapter 2: Chapter 02:Acceptance and Three Wishes(Part 1).
I regain consciences and all I see is white. I try to move my head to check my surroundings but its white everywhere. I stay stay like that and console my memories to remember how I got here.
" Oh so you're awake." I hear a voice coming out of nowhere and it sounds strangely feminine.The white dissipates and when I open my eyes again, I find myself in the middle of a white room on a hospital bed.
"Name: David Simpson, Sex: Male, Cause of death: Truck-kun....." murmurs the female voice next to me.I turn my head to see angel.....yes an actual angel.The servants of God, she's holding an IPad while recording my details.
"Umm..Miss Angel where am I." I asked while I try to sit up with a shaky voice, afraid to incur the wrath of God on me.
The angel first finishes her work on the IPad before replying." Okay you're in a space between life and death, and before you ask another question I have some news for you some good some bad which do you want to here first."She said quickly in a stern manner bofore I ask a question.
'I have a bad feeling about this, my anime sense is tingling.' I think about this situation is familiar to ones I see in anime, manga and novel."I start with the bad news first." I make my decision nervous of the answer coming.
"You where hit by a truck, ricocheted in to the nearby buildings and died on impact." The angel said in a cold tone while giving me the IPad, it had real time footage of what is happening on Earth.
On the screen I see my bloodied body being carried by paramedics. My mom who was call to the scene was on her knees balling her eyes out from the sight of my body. My friend Sam who calle 911 was holding his hands on his head, he was also shook by the scene.
The paramedics try to find any trace of life in my body but it's futile. I am pronounced dead on scene, my mother feels her heart sink hugs my body and cries uncontrollably. Sam loses hope and his eyes begin to tear up. The footage stops there and leaves me in horror of whar just happened.
I stay like that trying to process what just for couple of minutes in a daze looking at the blank screen. Tears start falling on the IPad, I try to trace where they are coming from and feel a wetness on my cheek.'I'm crying?'I think to myself.
I don't know why I'm crying exactly. More and more tears stream down my face as I lose my composure thinking about I just saw. Multiple emotions fill my body, shock of what I just saw , denial of the situation , anger at the force that broke me away from the life I enjoyed and depression or loss of hope fill my body but I'm still trying to hold back the tears.
" It's okay to cry, because crying is the first step to acceptance; let the emotions flow down the river ." Those words fell softly on my ears while my head is pulled to the bosom of the angel as she comforts me in a loving manner.
The flood gates open up as accept every emotion coming to me. I let them flow into me and out me down the river. I kept crying for hours while the angel brushes my hair slowly with her soft hands.
I eventually cried myself to sleep. The angel fixed my position, put me to bed and even tucked me in to bed.She materialized an arm chair out of thin air and sat on it, waiting for me to get up again.
"How cute, guess I'll take a little cat nap too"She said with a smile that could end nations while finding a good position to sleep on the chair."Get a good rest little one because your future will be quite chaotic to say the least."she said while looking at me before closing her eyes to take a nap.
