Intrigued by Raya's stolen glances, Damien Black makes a deliberate effort to approach her during the gathering. He moves through the crowd, his presence commanding attention, until he stands before her.
Raya feels a mixture of excitement and nervousness as Damien approaches. She hadn't anticipated that her subtle attempts to catch his attention would lead to a direct encounter. Her heart races, and she gathers her composure, determined to make the most of this opportunity.
Damien's piercing gaze meets Raya's eyes, and there is a moment of silent connection between them. He acknowledges her presence with a subtle nod, indicating his recognition of her efforts to be noticed. There is a spark of curiosity in his eyes, as if he sees something in Raya that goes beyond what others may perceive.

As Damien leans in to continue their silent connection, a mischievous squirrel swoops down from a nearby tree, landing squarely on Raya's head. The fluffy intruder seems to have mistaken her for the perfect perch, and Raya's eyes widen in surprise.
Caught off guard by the absurdity of the situation, Damien's curiosity transforms into a bemused expression. He can't help but chuckle as Raya struggles to maintain her composure while a squirrel frolics atop her head, its tiny paws playfully tugging at her hair.
The onlookers, previously engrossed in the unfolding connection, burst into laughter at the unexpected turn of events. The moment of silent connection is shattered, replaced by a chorus of amusement and disbelief.
As the laughter echoes around them, Raya's embarrassment reaches its peak. She tries her best to keep a straight face, but the mischievous squirrel's antics prove to be too much. The Jaye sisters, notorious for finding humor in any embarrassing situation of hers, are practically rolling on the floor with laughter.
Seeing Raya's discomfort, Damien steps forward, his eyes still twinkling with amusement. He extends his hand and says, "Well, it seems the squirrel has stolen the spotlight, but fear not, I'm here to rescue you from this furry situation."
Raya, grateful for his offer, accepts his hand with a sheepish grin. Together, they navigate the crowd, with the squirrel still perched atop her head, garnering curious glances and more laughter along the way.
Finally reaching a quieter corner, Damien suggests, "You know, I've heard squirrels are great judges of character. Perhaps this little fellow saw something special in you and wanted to join the conversation."
Raya, now able to embrace the absurdity of the situation, bursts into laughter. "Well, if that's the case, I hope he approves of what he sees," she replies, gently removing the squirrel from her head and setting it on a nearby branch.
As the squirrel scampers away, Damien and Raya share a genuine laugh, their connection deepening through the shared hilarity of the squirrel's unexpected cameo.
But then he has to go and meet her alpha,
"It's been nice talking to you; little devil" he says while walking away
