Chapter 15: ENJOY IT
The early morning sunlight seeped through the grey curtains and fell on the couple on the bed, Xavier had his one hand folded behind his head which served as a pillow.
He had been awake for quite a while now, he didn't know why he slept this long, he was suppose to be getting ready for a meeting this morning with the board but for some reason he just didn't want to get up yet.
He looked up with his head filled with so many thoughts, but then he noticed Abigail's movements from the corner of his eyes. He couldn't resist the urge to turn and look at her, indeed she was very pretty, her hair was looking messy and her nose was all pink. Her cheeks looked flushed, she looked beautiful.
"Mmm"
He guessed she was having a dream, Xavier couldn't remember the last time he dreamt about anything or perhaps he forgot about them, he wasn't sure.
Abigail blinked her eyes several times as she tried to adjust to the room lighting, she could see a figure lying next to her and so she tried to make out who it was.
"Did you plan to sleep the whole day?" Xavier asked as he looked at her.
Abigail recognized that voice, of course she would recognize that voice, that is the voice of the man who whispered all those dirty words to her last night. The man who had his hands on every part of her skin, yes she remembered everything, unlike the last time Abigail didn't forget any details.
Ever since they moved into Xavier's mansion, this was the first time Abigail woke up next to Xavier, getting to see this early morning disheveled look of his. The man still looked very handsome, his hair was messy but she didn't mind that, his grey eyes still looked cold as usual but Abigail had already gotten used to it, she was no longer scared of his looks anymore.
"You should stop staring, you are drooling already" Xavier spoke as he glanced at the side of her lips before returning his gaze to her eyes.
"Uhh??" Abigail asked in surprise as she quickly brought her hands to the side of her lips to clean off the drool but that only made Xavier chuckle. Abigail could swear she heard him chuckle, she had to turn to look at him to be sure she wasn't hearing this.
'Did Xavier just chuckle?' Abigail asked herself as she stared at the stranger on her bed. She didn't want to believe that this was the same Xavier she had been living with, he was acting so different this morning.
"Don't do that" Xavier quickly spoke when he saw her reach her hand out to touch his face, he knew she was having doubts, even he too was having doubts, he was trying to understand himself this morning.
"Sorry" Abigail spoke with her hoarse voice, Xavier had made her shout all night and now her voice was sounding hoarse. The thought of it made her blush and she quickly looked away so Xavier wouldn't notice it, she didn't think she would be able to handle his teasing this morning.
"What are you going to do today?" Xavier asked as his gaze shifted back to the chandelier in the room.
Abigail was surprised with his question, now she was really sure that there was a stranger in bed with her, since when did Xavier care about her activities.
"Ummm" Abigail tried to speak when she received the impatient gaze from Xavier "I was going to call mum and Kai later today, aside that I have no plans" Abigail spoke and cleared her throat. She looked around the room and saw a bottle of water on the small table next to Xavier. Abigail was completely aware of the fact that she was naked and so if she was to move then the sheets might slip off and then....No she didn't even want to start thinking about that right now.
"Don't you have work today?" Abigail asked trying to start a conversation, it didn't seem like Xavier was going to get up from the bed anytime soon and so she didn't want the atmosphere to be wierd.
"I do, infact I have a meeting right now" Xavier said as he glanced at the wall clock, it was already a few minutes past seven. The meeting would start by 8am and Xavier still had time to get ready, after all the meeting wouldn't start without him. But for some reason, Xavier just didn't want to get up from this bed today.
"Why are you still here then?" Abigail asked curiously, if he did have a meeting by 8am then why was he here chit chatting with her.
"Do you want me to leave?" Xavier asked and turned his face towards her.
"No, I'm just asking" Abigail quickly cleared the air.
"Why?" Xavier asked as he looked at her eyes wanting to gauge her reaction.
"Because if you leave then I won't have anyone to talk to, I used to have Vivian but because of you she won't even talk to me" Abigail said, she didn't want it to sound like she was complaining, she had no intention of ruining his happy mood this morning but she saw this as an opportunity to speak.
"What do you want me to do?" Xavier asked as he leaned closer to her and placed his hand on her cheeks.
"Why are you in such a good mood today?" Abigail couldn't help but ask, she had tried to just ignore his nice attitude but now it was getting too much.
"I'm being good today. Enjoy it. Stop asking questions" Xavier said before placing a short kiss on her lips. "Come on bath time" Xavier added as he got down from the bed and head for the bathroom.
Abigail was still left in awe as she watched his retreating back, he was walking naked in front of her and she couldn't help but gush at the view, now she was sure she was drooling.
"You coming?" Xavier asked as he stood by the bathroom door and then added "Don't make me force you, it can get very intense " He said with a smirk on his lips before entering the bathroom.
Abigail cleaned her eyes and pinched her cheeks several times to be sure she wasn't dreaming.
"Geez" Abigail said before she finally got up and followed Xavier into the bathroom, the man was in a good mood today. All she could do was enjoy it for the main time.
