Rather than calling it a challenge on Izumi, it's more like observing the reactions of the three.
Only Haruno Sakura has a portion of the meal, and it's very small, barely enough for a girl like her to eat half, not to mention the two men beside her.
If they split the food, they won't have the strength to face Izumi afternoon.
"I don't think Kakashi has any intention of letting us win!" Uchiha Sasuke said, his eyebrows furrowed.
"What should we do then? Sasuke, why don't you eat?" Sakura handed the lunch box to Sasuke, her own stomach growling.
"Sakura, can I have a bite? Just one!" Naruto, already drooling, stared at the lunch box in Sakura's hands.
"No, Sasuke is the key to winning this afternoon. He needs to eat!" Kakashi, hiding in the bushes, shook his head helplessly.
"Izumi, supervise them for me. I need to leave for a bit," Kakashi said, prompting mixed reactions from Izumi.
"Kakashi-sensei is leaving? What if we encounter enemies?" Izumi was concerned.
"Don't worry, it's Konoha territory. No one would be bold enough to come here looking for you guys," Kakashi reassured.
But Izumi wondered if Konoha territory was really that safe, considering how Sasuke was abducted and the village was nearly destroyed.
As thoughts of the imminent collapse of Konoha crossed Izumi's mind, Kakashi decided to leave.
"Alright, here's a chance to boost their affection towards me," Izumi thought, pleased with Kakashi's departure.
"Let's leave, Sasuke hasn't eaten, and I ate it all!" With Izumi's appearance, Sakura quickly grabbed the lunch box, stuffing the remaining food into her mouth.
Naruto, with longing eyes, watched as Sakura finished the entire box, grumbling with an empty stomach.
"Don't pretend. I'm not Kakashi-sensei; I won't be that serious," Izumi remarked.
"But I really haven't eaten anything..." Naruto complained.
Izumi sighed. Naruto, always considerate of Sakura, didn't receive much attention in return.
Despite being the main team, everyone had their own motives. Kakashi primarily taught Sasuke, while the other two found different mentors.
"I know you're all hungry. I'll show you a way." Izumi pointed to a nearby lake.
"A lake? You can't eat a lake."
"Naruto, you fool, there are fish in the lake!" Sakura scolded Naruto and turned to Izumi, asking if it was safe.
"Don't worry, I've got it covered!"

Izumi was satisfied. Chakra usage was taught by Kakashi, and now, with Sakura's affection, things became clearer.
"Now, just follow the training material, and my chakra control and quantity will improve significantly."
Izumi nodded in approval, and Sakura seemed more appealing.
"Go catch some fish, but remember to control chakra to stand on the water. Wet clothes won't look good when explaining to Kakashi," Izumi advised.
Suddenly, Naruto, starving, had a bright idea and suggested stripping to fish.
Izumi raised an eyebrow. Naruto might not be as simple as he appeared, having developed seduction techniques, especially compared to his student, Konohamaru, who used them even with clothes on.
Ignoring Naruto, Sakura found a reasonable explanation.
"Naruto, what are you saying?"
"I'm just afraid Kakashi-sensei will find out. Being expelled or undressing to fish in the water, which one do you choose?"
"You! I choose not to eat!"
"What about the afternoon battle?"
Izumi couldn't bear it anymore and decided to intervene. "I think Naruto is right; we should strip before going into the water."
"Izumi-kun, even you..." Sakura blushed.
"Sasuke and Naruto, go into the lake to catch fish. Sakura, collect some dry wood." Izumi coughed, trying to defuse the situation.
For a moment, Sakura blushed even more, realizing she had misunderstood Izumi, who had been helping all along.
"Is everything I say near Kakashi just for myself?" Sakura wondered, looking at Izumi, who seemed quite handsome and capable.

Izumi raised an eyebrow; while Sakura's increased affection was expected, Naruto's decrease was intriguing.
