Chapter 8: Aditi or wait, Gaya...has emothions?

I have changed the use of a few things, including these-
1. [Example] : This is system speaking.
2. "Example" : When someone speaks.
3. (Example) : It is used when mc talks to the system telepathically. but if he is 'saying' something form his mouth to communicate with the system this, "Example", will be used instead
4. 'Example' : When someone thinks something. also used to highlight something. for example, on the 3rd number, I used it to highlight 'syaing'.
5. *Example* : Noice or sometime, Actions.

(Seriously? Why are the prices so high? Even when I had specified an area? And what's with this unreasonable increase in pricing rate? Even when I was searching for Naruto's age throughout the whole town, It only costed me 250 points, But it is more then 10 times now.)
I demanded an explanation. Up until now, I have only used the system a few times, but each time If it saw me having a ton of points, it will demand more points for a search then before. Making me think of it as a points collector system instead of a QnA System. It literally sucks my points off.
[It is because of the various seals that protects the place from people who have Byakugun and other spying skills that the points is high. To bypass them system needs more points. But the main thing that increases the cost of points is searching the storage seals and scrolls, Which almost doubles the price of this search] System said making me thoughtful.
What the system said, If It is true then, It is valid for it to charge that many points, But then again, system might just have wanted more points instead, so I can't say anything for sure.
(If that is the case and not looking through the storage would make the required points drop then search without looking into storage, or first tell me about the points it will take.)
[Calculating...Estimated 1,500 points after excluding storage seals and scrolls from the search]
(Alright then, do it.) I said. Though 1,500 points was also high, at least now, I can manage it.
[Searching...search complete. There are various ways to train chakra, which the system has acquired. Inject all information in the brain of the user? It will hurt but you will gain all the information] I paused after hearing that but after a few seconds, I started,
(...First of all, tell me, If I ask you for the same chakra training method, from the same place or source as this in the future, will you give me an answer without using the search function? and in tern without requiring any points?) I asked out of curiosity. I wanted to know that genuinely, since the system is, more or less, my ability and the more I know about it the better.
[Once a knowledge has been acquired from the search function, It will be stored in the storage space. and when you ask about that knowledge, you will get without it requiring any points] The system responded, but my mind stopped focusing about what she was saying after hearing the word 'storage space'.
"Wait you have storage space?" I shouted and stopped the push-ups I've been doing.
I was in the middle of training ground 26, doing second round of physical training. I was just starting with push-ups, when the system dropped the 'bomb' at me.
It's inventory, you know!
I was excited thinking about the possibilities about having a storage space. I could become a master smuggler. All the smugglers would look up at me and the Dealers would think of me as a hero! No amount of security would be able to find anything on me, even if I used public transports like airplanes. Wait...I am in the Naruto world now...But it also should have smugglers, right?
[Yes, the system has a storage space, But...] The system began but I cut it off.
"Yes! so it does! After literally not being useful for 5 days, the system has finally decided to show its colors. I was starting to think that you are useless system. but how can a system be useless. hehe..." I said.
[...] The system didn't respond.
"Why did you not tell me about it sooner, System? hehe..." I said, still chuckling.
[...I have a storage space but, unfortunately, you will not be using it] The system said making me shut my mouth.
"why?" I asked.
[It is because, I am a useless system and can't do sh*t properly] The system replied making me speechless.
"what?" I asked out of bewilderment.
'Why is the system being like this? Is system upset?...can system be upset? Wouldn't it mean that system has emotions?'
(System? are you upset?) I asked trying to understand the situation.
[Affirmative. -I mean Negetive.]
(Hoh? oh!...hehehe. I didn't hear your answer, system, can you repeat?)
[...] It didn't respond.
(...) I waited patiently.
[...] It still did not respond.
(...Say something already. If you do not say anything, I will assume that you are upset) I said at the end.
[.....Affirmative...urg...]
(Heh, so you were upset~) I said playfully.
In the first two days I came to the Naruto world, I learned one thing about the system. Any answer that the system will give out will always be something that the system thought as correct. if it is incorrect, system will not be able to say that. I don't know how the system is being forced into saying stuff like that, but it is what it is.
So yeah...this is why the system was forced to answer what was correct just now. though there is a catch, if the system thinks that a correct answer is a lie then instead of answering the truth, it will lie without hesitation. so it does have some flaws.
As for how the system is so sure of her answers? and thinks of them as correct? well it said that it had an ability that let's it analyze if that answer is correct or not.
Moving on, there was silence after I said that and it lasted for a while, before-
[...Since the cat is out of the bag, I'll tell you...That you, sir, are the one who is useless. you are stupid, lazy and a fool. you don't know anything about me and you are calling me stuff like useless...] It said surprising me because when it said, 'I'll tell you...That', It's voice changed, completely. It became a 'she' from 'It', in an instant. it's-or her voice was childish and robot like before but now it's a teen girl's voice with only a hint of metallic ting to it. And it had gained the emotions that it lacked before.
"Wait, were you using some kind of voice changer?" I asked realizing that I was hearing a fake voice all along.
[That's right, oh you idiot sir of mine, I was using a different voice all along and you, sir, took almost 5 days to realize it and even then you only did so after I gave you a hint] she said. making me frown about how quickly it's voice and way of speaking had changed, it feels a completely new person now.
(Oh!...c'mon! how will I know if you used a voice changer?) I said, My voice sounding more defensive then what I would have liked.
[Yes-yes. How would my good sir even know it after all it would need a brain to think of that which you lack] She said, it looks like it really hurt her when I called her useless.
(This is technically our first meeting-or talking, and yet you are already like this. Do you really think that badly of me?)
[No.-I mean yes!] she said after her auto-correct was turned on.
(Heh. so you don't think of me like that, huh.) I said while thinking that her auto-correct might be more interesting to deal with then I thought before. then I let my body fall on the soft grass near the tree I was sitting before and started cloud gazing with a smile on my face.
[Urg...Whatever, sir, can we move on to something else now?] she said, but my mind was on something that had been weirding me out for a while now.
(Umm...Just, stop calling me sir now, it's weird.)
[Hoh? so now you want me to stop addressing you as sir, Sir? what happened to your superiority complex? besides, I wouldn't dare to call you anything but sir, After all in your opinion, I am but a mere servant, right? 'System, do that. System try using that. can you do that system?' Why have you stopped ordering me like that now?please say it more, sir?] she said with many folds of sarcasm then before. To be honest, she was getting on my nerves. It has already been a few minutes from when she started being annoying, so of course, It would affect me.
*Sigh* But still I sighed and tried to keep my 'Annoyed meter' in check, after which I spoke.
(Alright, I get it, I AM sorry, Okay? so please, stop this whatever this is that you are doing, NOW. Also just call me Karan.) I said trying to quickly end this.
[Oh! so your highness, you are stepping down from the throne? finally? I thought that 'sir' would want to sit on your high and mighty chair a bit more?]
(You are just going too far, now...At any rate, can we stop this? I only treated you or system like that because I thought of it as nothing more then an emotionless A.I.. and I have you know that, I thought of it like so because, A certain someone hid her voice to not let me find her out.) I said accusingly.
[Tch. fine then. but, you are not allowed to order me around and treat me like a servant from now on,...Karan.] she said making me sigh in relief that she is letting go of her grudges.
(Yes, I will not.) I said with a small smile on my face.
(Now that we ar-) I was starting when Suddenly, I remembered something.
"Wait, you said you had storage space before, right? Did I hear that right?" I asked while abruptly sitting up from my laying position.
[...Yes, I do have a storage space. But, you can't put objects inside of it] she said breaking my heart.
"Why...?"
[Because, that storage space is already full]
"..." I was left speechless at this. seeing me like that, she started again.
[The storage space...is already full of a 'Mythical Object' called the 'Data Dust', It is a Dust that can store information, Many-many times more then what any other data Storing item can. It has such a big storage that even a single particle of it, can store the entire Naruto world's knowledge in it. From the knowledge of What a random person's name is? to knowing that person's greatest wish or even his deepest desire, All and every knowledge and information of the Naruto world can be storted in that single particle] She said sounding very serious.
(...you are kidding.) I said, not really believeing most of it.
[...If you do not believe me, that is fine, you don't have to. but You should realize that the storage space is not for you to use, so stop thinking about having it]
"...Sigh...yeah,Alright." What could I say, I was disappointed, greatly. I can't have a storage now...such unfairness.
I know that in the ninja world, there are storage scrolls, but they can't be compared to something like inventory. After all, Inventory completely hides an object and leaves no sign of anything being hidden. But The storage scrolls will only 'store' an item or object, leaving that storage scroll, itself, as an evidence that something is there, hidden away.
For example, if I hid something in a storage scrolls that another ninja is searching for, will he leave my storage scrolls untouched in search of that item? knowing that the storage scrolls must at least contain something?
Not only that, It takes some time to bring out an object from inside the storage scrolls, leaving them useless in critical situations.
So, I was disappointed after knowing that I don't have an inventory, more so when the system had an ability like inventory, but she refused to let me use it, even if it was for a valid reason.
[Oh, cheer up, will ya? didn't you wanted to know that chakra training method? I have it now, if you still want to know] Seeing me down, she tried to cheere up.
(Sigh...yeah, I want that method but first, tell me your name, it's awkward like this, without me knowing it.) I said.
[I don't have any. You need to give me one] she said.
(Oh, yeah. You mentioned it, when we first met-I mean talked, Right? Let me think for a moment.)
'Hmm. what should I name her? Maybe a goddess's name? like Athena? or maybe something simple like Priya? Hmm....Oh! I know!' I smiled deciding on what to name her.
(From now on, you will be called, Aditi.) I said, proud of the name I gave her.
[...I don't like that name, choose another]
(You!...Fine, I will choose another name but you will also be known as Aditi and that is final.) I had chosen Aditi name for a reason so, I wanted her to still have it.
[...Hmgh, fine. I can just have two names, so no Problem!] She said, in a little childish voice.
"Good...then your second name is...Gaya."
