Chapter 134: 133 Marines Approach

Garp decided not to say anything further. He knew that saying too much might only make Green Bull angrier.

The whole team moved forward swiftly, and Green Bull felt secretly pleased at that moment.

Seeing the other party's ships already becoming faintly visible.

"Quick, pass me the telescope"

Green Bull demanded. Through the lens, he observed several ships burn on the sea.

The spies had just reported that Big Mom's ship was defeated by Blackbeard and being burned by his crew.

For such information, it seems absolutely accurate.

But through the telescope, he couldn't spot any more ships.

Logically, why are there only these few ships when two pirate crew are fighting?

"What do you see?"

Fujitora asked anxiously, standing nearby.

"Why are there so few ships at sea? Could both sides have been injured? Perhaps Blackbeard's crew also suffered heavy losses"

As Green Bull considered this, a hint of disappointment crept into his heart. If both crews had been weakened to some extent, then even capturing them wouldn't bring much glory.

"Let me have a look..."

Garp said, taking the telescope from Green Bull's hand and looking into the distance at the sea.

"Yeah, why is this so strange? The information we received must be false..."

Garp muttered to himself as he watched. According to their information, two pirate crew were supposed to be preparing for a battle, but he could only spot a dozen scattered ships on the sea.

According to reliable sources, Blackbeard's pirate fleet has hundreds of ships, and Big Mom's crew also commands a fleet of similar size.

If the two pirate crews were indeed in a conflict, at least half of their ships would have been deployed. However, seeing only a few ships at sea made Garp feel very uneasy.

"Our sources have always been reliable. What exactly happened this time?"

Garp pondered aloud, just as another spy returned with information.

"Report to Admiral Green Bull that Big Mom's pirates have suffered a devastating defeat and were repelled by Blackbeard"

"She was steadily defeated by Blackbeard. What did Blackbeard use to defeat them?"

Green Bull wondered aloud, noticing the absence of additional ships or pirates.

Naturally, he was puzzled by the information reported by the spies.

"Our scouts hid behind the rocks to observe, but they didn't spot many of Blackbeard's crew or ships. It seems Big Mom's ships were damaged to different extents, and most of the pirates aboard fell into the sea"

"And Blackbeard just ordered a few ships to bombard Big Mom's ship with cannon fire"

The messenger looked at Green Bull and conveyed the information they had received.

"Could it be that Blackbeard's men and ships are hiding underwater?"

Considering this, Green Bull quickly glanced towards the water beneath his ships. The sea was unusually calm, devoid of any waves.

What kind of trick did Blackbeard use to defeat the Big Mom Pirates?

Now with only the remnants of Big Mom's defeated troops left, they awaited Green Bull's next move. While he sensed a big advantage, he also lost interest in the situation.

He had hoped for a fierce battle to showcase his abilities to everyone. As the saying goes, "he wants to showcase his power as the new Admiral." He needed to make a strong impression, but fate didn't grant him that opportunity.

Listening to the report from the spies ahead, Green Bull realized he was here to clean up the mess. No matter what, he had to capture both pirate crews at once.

After all, these two pirate crews have been tense here for a long time, causing a lot of trouble for travelers in the area and for the marines.

"It seems we've arrived just in time"

Fujitora remarked, feeling that the timing was perfect.

But Green Bull felt like he had missed out on a good show and still had unfinished business.

"If we had set off two hours earlier, we might have witnessed that fierce scene. These pirates have always been notorious for their brutality. It's rare to see them fighting among themselves"

"I'll give you a chance to witness it soon, and some of them might even impress you"

Garp said, looking at Green Bull's ignorant and fearless expression with a hint of helplessness.

"Alas, such an opportunity won't showcase our abilities. After all, both pirates crew are already defeated"

"Didn't you hear what the spies reported? It was Big Mom's Pirates that were scattered, but Blackbeard's Pirates emerged unscathed. You'll have your chance. The remaining Pirates are still formidable. You'll see it soon"

Fujitora said after hearing their talk

"Yes..."

Green Bull seemed quite interested and excited about the upcoming opportunity.

Now Green Bull was uncertain about what lay ahead, and it appeared that the information provided by the spies might be somewhat inaccurate.

Green Bull walked to the deck and glanced around.

He took turns holding the telescope, scanning the scene in front of him.

"Why do I feel like I can only see very few people and ships, or am I the one who can't see much from the other side? Could it be that the two pirate crews have set a trap, waiting for us to fall into it? Perhaps they've also received intel about our encirclement and suppression"

While feeling pleased, Green Bull also sensed a looming crisis. Big Mom's pirate crew wasn't as simple as it seems. Their ability to survive in this sea area for so long without being eradicated suggested they were powerful and cunning.

"I'm sending out spies to thoroughly scout the area, to see where these large forces are, so we don't get ambushed by them. These pirates are so bold that even don't put our marines seriously"

Fujitora said, saying that he couldn't afford to underestimate them.

Even though the information reported by the spies is optimistic, it might not be entirely true. They should verify the facts before launching an attack.

Seeing Fujitora's cautious demeanor, both Green Bull and Garp felt somewhat helpless. They shook their heads, thinking Fujitora was letting others' prestige affect his judgment too much.

"It's because of people like you that these pirates are allowed to grow their power unchecked in this sea area"

Garp shrugged, feeling at a loss for words with these individuals. He felt he had already said all he could. Moreover, having dealt with these pirates before, he understood their tactics well.

People's abilities may be different, but it seems like these Green Bulls doubt what they've been told.

Then they should rely on what they hear and see to believe. It sure won't be long before they witness the true strength of these pirates firsthand.

Everything that exists in the world has a certain reason.
