Chapter 2: God Avatar
In the World of Condellia, Awakeners are the most respected and desired profession.
A world with game-like mechanics is controlled by Tier system.
Gods reside in the world of Condellia reaches of thousands.
Therefore, churches, temples, and shrines are commonplace.
But with the thousands of gods in a single planet is not a good thing.
There were bound to be some conflict among gods.
Some conflict can be resolved with some time
But not all conflict of gods end in resolution.
Like the Ragnarok.
A war of gods that reduced the population of gods from millions to ten thousand.
Concept Gods, Material Gods, and Symbolic Gods were killed and forgotten.
Just because an artifact appeared out of nowhere.
Erientol
A device that can teleport anywhere into the Omniverse.
But not all gods desire to leave Condellia and did not go to war.
Some are not interested.
Some loves the faith and loyalty of the mortals.
Some felt that being a guardian is enough.
And someone cannot move.
And that someone is the World Tree.
World Tree isn't a concept, material nor symbolic god.
Even the World Tree didn't even know if it was a god or not.
Because of it's mystery, no god wants to associate with it before the Ragnarok.
Other gods didn't even attacked it during Ragnarok.
The World Tree can only watch as gods kept killing each other.
Dying of loneliness is a miserable death.
But it was nothing to it. So it suicided by creating the Nidhogg to eat it roots.
After the Ragnarok, World Tree was nowhere to be seen.
The gods didn't even think about it.
For them, it was just an another forgotten god.
Or is it?
A thousand years later...
At the other edge of the universe...
A planet called Earth where there's no god guading it, just created it's best works of literature, Mythology.
In Norse Mythology, the World Tree is an important figure.
When the mythology spread in world the World Tree became well known.
It turns out that different from other gods, it can't die even if it's killed, only being forgotten.
World Tree is both grateful and despaired for being not forgotten by mortals.
Even being known under different name...
So when a mortal from earth died and reincarnated in Condellia it helps that mortal to maintain it's past memories hoping him for a better life.

"10 gold or scram!"
A guard said in commanding tone.
He was disgusted by Adair's clothing that he almost drew his sword.
Adair hand over a bag silvers to the guard.
The other guard counts the coins then nodded.
The blue shield covering the gates turned white.
Adair walks in with a smile.
This was Erientol Capital, a city only accessible for awakened people.
Actually Erientol isn't even a kingdom nor a capital. It was the border of three kingdoms namely; Celili Kingdom of the north, Argani Kingdom of the west, and Xenolan Empire of south and east.
The kingdoms are currently at peace but Xenolan Empire is in the quest of domination in other small kingdoms.
There was a shield covering the entire capital that prevents any Tier-0 from coming inside.
Adair once tried to sneak in when he was unawakened but was stopped by the shield.
Now that Adair is inside, he plans to buy some new clothes and himself.
Afterall he was not blind and knew people avoided him because he looks like a homeless kid or a thief.
Well they are not wrong either...
Some time later... He was wearing a new set of clothes. Commoner's clothes.
As he was walking around the capital, he heard a information that peaks his interest.
"Gob! how much did you bet on Leonder's son?"
"Definitely my entire savings! That kid is on a winning streak why bother betting to the weird one"
"Hahahaha even if the weird kid somehow wons, tomorrow he will be crippled by someone!"
Adair approaches the men and asked where is the arena they are talking about.
The men are easy to talk to pointed the direction and advised Adair to be careful.
Adair nodded but did not go directly at the arena.
The fight was scheduled this night so there was no rush.
Adair will definitely watch that game since he was a bit of a fan of Leonder.
Leonder is a famous Tier-8 powerhouse that specialized lightning skills. He was also like Adair, a God Avatar.
Adair walks into a shop to buy some Tier-1 skill stones using the gold given by the wealthy water man.
Adair also registers as an official awakener not long after and rent some cheap house.

Adair stunned by the changes of the skills that he falled back to his chair.
"The skills... evolves to nature?"

Adair looks at the window then remembered the arena fight could start any minute now.
He rushes towards the arena without wasting any second.
