Chapter 21: New Power System
He had already thought about the power system he wanted for himself. It was to follow the nature itself, like every route goes, but it wouldn't be the same for him. He wanted to create something new.
He understood the concept where people forge their origin into their body and use it to replicate nature, creating worlds, stars, and more. However, to him, that was just a simple way. Every path he remembered showed people wanting to replicate nature in their bodies to get stronger, but it was just a replication. It wasn't real power originating from themselves.
So what is Azkar going to do differently? Well, it's simple. He's going to create the real thing, not a replication. While this might seem impossible for a normal person, Azkar is far from normal. He decided to forge his path by following the route of nature but not through replication – he aims to create the real nature itself.
Moreover, he won't integrate his origin into his body because if it's destroyed, he'll undoubtedly die. After considering everything, his chances of success in creating this path were only 3%.
Here's the prototype idea for his path: Since his soul and body are completely made of code, even though they are currently in the form of flesh and blood, they are still codified. Azkar is a unique existence that can control his soul entirely and is capable of changing it, and the same can be said for his body.
But still, these two factors contribute only 1.5% of the success rate of his plan. To create his path, he needs more than this, and that's where his Innate Abilities come in – [Limitless Numeric Consciousness] and [Numeric Eyes]. Using these two abilities, he can literally analyze anything to its smallest unit. This allows him to create real nature in his origin, not a replication. However, to do this, he has to understand all the laws that exist in this reality to make the real nature work just like the real thing, contributing another 1.5% to the success rate.
The good thing is that learning laws or anything is not difficult for him using his abilities. The problem lies in the fact that creating nature in his origin is literally impossible.
For instance, if he wants to create a planet in his origin, the planet cannot function without space outside of it. Additionally, without a sun, the planet won't survive. To function properly, it needs a solar system, but the solar system won't survive without a galaxy. Solar systems always circle in a galaxy, and galaxies circle in the universe with other galaxies. They exist because some bigger force is at play, making everything work like a machine. If even one part is missing, the machine won't function and will stop working.
Why did he say there is a 3% chance of success? Well, he remembered a theory about reality. The theory stated that everything in existence is made of strings working at different frequencies, forming everything in reality. But what does this have to do with Azkar's success rate? Here's the theory he came up with after thinking in his trial: He'll create a nature with minor differences from real nature.
As he mentioned earlier, creating nature like real nature is impossible because creation always depends on a bigger force. Even if you create a planet like Earth, you still need the sun to work, and the whole solar system is still needed for it to function. No matter what you create, you still need a bigger force for the thing you made to work.
But what he is going to change is removing the need for a bigger force. Instead, his nature will follow a smaller force that will make it work.
He just has to use the string theory and modify the fundamental thing that typically requires a bigger force. He has to alter this fundamental aspect to make it rely on a smaller force. Therefore, anything he creates won't depend on a bigger force to work. For example, if he creates a planet like Earth, it will function similarly to the real thing; he just has to alter the strings of reality. However, the problem lies in how someone can control the strings of reality – it's simply beyond the scope of everything, and not even gods can control this.
But he had a solution for this problem: he's not going to use [Strings] as the smallest unit of existence for his purpose. In his case, he's going to use "Numerical Data" as the smallest element in his nature, which he can absolutely control. This is a radical idea because he's attempting to change everything for his path down to the smallest unit of existence. Yet, the chances of success were still 3%, which, surprisingly, were considered high.
Everything is ready now. He just has to create a prototype origin that will support everything he desires. If he wants to free himself from everything and ensure that no external rule can control him, he has to change his foundation to the smallest unit.
[Author Note: If you understand this crazy bastard's plan, then my god, you're a genius. Joke aside, I'm saying I hate cultivation-type stuff, but that's why I tried my hardest to create a good power system that is totally different from anything, at least from what I thought about it. So, I'm here to tell you about the "origin" thing. In simple words, this "origin" thing exists in the body of every lifeform, where they can mimic nature, like creating a world in this origin to get stronger. Everything is connected to it; if it's destroyed, then welcome to the afterlife. So, in a way, it's everything for the person who uses the origin power system that replicates nature into it. I hope you guys understand the meaning of origin in my novel because it's also connected to the body and soul. That's why, after the origin gets destroyed, the person will die for sure.
